  • Hello! CowKora and I have a chat on a windmill hilltop on the ownership experience of our Hero Xpulse 200 BS6. My Xpulse has run 6,000 kms while CowKora's has run about 3,500 kms.
    Hope you enjoy the video. Cheers!

    The xpulse - banana analogy was absolutely spot on.

      Yeah! It is like the ubiquitous banana which is omnipresent at all luncheons and dinners and always ignored. Cheers!

    Nice to see you both back. I saw your video on machismo 500 . I got one recently . Which oil would you suggest for the bike . And is the stock air filter good or it’s better to replace it

      Hi! Thanks. Use can any fully synthetic oil of the same grade and keep the stock air filter. Cheers!

    What's the name of the oil? I got myself a 4V in Nov and simply loving it! Can't complain much. Looking forward to stumble on you sometime in Bangalore on on the trails :)

      I guess we will stumble upon each other sooner than later!
      The oil is Motorex 10w-40.

    I liked your expectation of ideal motorcycle....😅. In Marathi we have one saying - Someone needs cow who eats less, have short horns, gives more milk.... Same transformed to bikes.... Cheers....

    Brother pls guide me. About my Honda c- abs cbr250r 2014 model in which i did a mistake, that just for a rear wheel spin/burnout, i pressed the front brake lever which caused the abs trouble that = even upon sight pressing any of the 2 levers it gives a spring jerk on both the levers which makes the brake ineffective, with a sound such as something is rotating such as a spring in the breaking system. But when i took out the abs fuse the hydraulic brakes are working perfect{without abs}.
    I have already dismantled the abs modulator and re packed it. But couldn't find the cause of the problem. And the problem didn't solve. Pls guide, is it the delay valves which i should check and how to exactly where to look upon? And where the delay valves located in cbr250r? What could have gone wrong in the abs system which is causing a spring type feel on the brake levers. I also went to a Honda service centre, but that silly mechanic over there told me that he will first change both the sensor wires and then will go ahead. Which is not the cause of the problem i know very well. It was just the pressing of front brakes in this combined abs system for a small fun of rear tyre burn out, which caused this problem. Now it is several months i am using the vehicle but with the abs fuse out which means the hydraulic brakes are functioning absolutely fine. Anyone with knowledge about this combined abs mechanism please guide.

      Oh wow! Thanks for taking time out to share so much info. Am sorry that you are facing so much trouble and also sorry that I cannot give much inputs other than asking you to allow an authorised workshop to step by step trouble shoot the problem. Hope you find a solution soon. Regards.

    I had 2 Vstroms :) and so beat you to the light weight motorcycle game...way back with a Hero Impulse (not xpulse)...
    May be vstroms teach and calms riders that specs are nothing...if u dont enjoy the bike.
    ..infact, your next bikes will actually be bicycles 🚲
    Try doing 35kmph on cycle...is faster than 110kmph on xpulse..

    Does xpulse make sense for two up touring, I am ok with cruising speeds of 90 to 100

    • @bigbearbangalore
      @bigbearbangalore  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi! 2 up the bike will struggle quite a bit to accelerate, overtake and hold speeds above 90 kmph.
      So it’s not really suited for two up touring.

      @@bigbearbangalore thank you xpulse such a sweet bike, I really liked the himalayan, will test ride the adventure and the ktm 250 adv. I own a kawasaki er6n and the bulk nature makes it tiring for two up touring. As a second bike the xpulse makes a good choice but my wife hates the pillion seat 🤣

  • @Whatreally123
    @Whatreally123 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I own the 4v and 100 is a sweet spot. Even though it can do a bit more, it does feel like it's a lot of struggle.
    The CRF rally would be great for our roads but till that comes to India, Bajaj can actually make a great ADV. The Pulsar 200 NS or the Dominar engine is absolutely tailor made for 5his kind of bike. Having owned a 200NS, that engine is fantastic. Bored to 300cc should provide similar numbers to the CRF and keep the costs down.

    • @bigbearbangalore
      @bigbearbangalore  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the CRF would be a tailor made motorcycle for Indian conditions. Hope Honda will launch it.
      And yeah, both Bajaj and TVS have decent engines that they can plonk onto a half decent adventure chassis but wonder why they haven't. Hero has stolen a march ahead in this regard. Great job!
