- Hello,
The much awaited and anticipated ride review of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is finally here. This is one of the two videos that I have posted. This is a helmet cam footage on just the ride experience on board the motorcycle. The other video is a classic ride review that encompasses features and specs and other details. Hope you enjoy watching. Cheers!

Finally i found a riding mentor who embodies the balance of joy and responsibility on two wheels. Choosing a guide who not only relishes the thrill of riding but also emphasizes the importance of careful bike handling and steering clear of unnecessary speed stunts is a wise decision. This combination of enthusiasm and prudence not only enhances the enjoyment of the ride but also promotes a culture of safety within the motorcycling community. Learning from someone who values both the experience of riding and the proper care of the motorcycle sets a positive example for responsible and enjoyable motorcycling. May your journeys together be filled with the right blend of exhilaration and caution, fostering a love for the open road while keeping safety at the forefront...Much love from MUMBAI
That's poetry! 🙏🙏🙏🙂
@@bigbearbangalore sir, need a help from your side
What's your opinion on Suzuki Gixxer sf 155.
Is it worth buying in 2023
Please let me know sir
@Sai-rd4eg test ride and buy. Am not familiar with that model.
@@bigbearbangalore sir please I am highly recommend u to make comprehensive review of Honda cb300f .... Especially engine point of view..... Is that capacity to make best sub 300 cc adv / scrambler .... Is there any chance Honda can make adv/ scrambler from this engine ?
I already rode cb300f ....
One of the best part I found from this engine
*Fuel efficiency (30 - 43) it's vary good efficiency renge many middle class can afford (I don't like new RE Himalayan efficiency 20 - 30😢)
*Engine reliability / longevity
*Maintenance (oil cooled)
*Honda brand trust
*Light weight adv can posible to make (because I don't like new RE Himalayan 200 kg😢 )
You're no stranger to riding yet you were like a kid in a candy store😊
I've booked one, my first RE and I'm eagerly looking forward to getting a test ride when they're out.
Have fun, ride safe, thank you for sharing this with us👍🏻
😀 I was!!! Congrats.
Great review… Thank you. This is one bike where my heart and mind together says get one! This feeling is after a long long time, may be after the original classic 500. See you soon Himalayas!!
Well said!
Wow. Seems you had the time of your life Bosky. Watching the video felt like watching a child enjoying his new toy. And that patented "Helloooooo" mid way. Wonderful video. Seems RE has come up with something really amazing this time around.
😀 yes I had a great time and felt like a carefree child enjoying a new toy.
Hey Bosky, nice video and congratulations, first time watching a complete moto vlog of yours. BTW your attire reminds me of Mr. Bret Tkacs. I have watched H452 videos from a lot of moto vloggers who are indeed good, but I always wait for your review & verdict of any machine for simple reasons of not being biased on any brands. Keep rocking!
Thanks. Very kind of you. 🙏
Been waiting a while for this, ur tarmac excitement has made me more excited thanks a lot for this 😎
Glad you enjoy it!
Another great video, thanks. The new Himalayan looks to be a major improvement over the 411. I rode those roads (Spiti Valley, Zanskar Valley, Umlingla, etc) just a couple of months ago, two-up with my wife riding pillion. Awesome! I'll be back for another ride in the Himalayas (have done 3 so far!) 🇦🇺
Thanks.
Awesome! Welcome back.
the growl is actually very addicting
My pleasure 😊 Thanks.
Thanks again for this Enduro trails and candid observation of this Stallion.
🙏
Awesome review Arun. Both of the videos are very informative. Great to see Pankaj in your video. Miss Himalayan Odyssey days 😊
Thanks a ton. Cheers!
Loved this style! Substantiates what you're trying to say with action! Awesome Bosky!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wonderful coverage. I really like the new dash, I would like to get that dash added to my hunter if possible. And the way it’s positioned at the centre aesthetically good.
Thanks. 🙏
Awesome Video. 🎉🎉 Very well made one covering the ride.
Damn the mirrors are so clear. Power slide turns eh 🤔🤔
Thanks. They are!
Sir next we need some riding advice and tips on how to fully enjoy the Himalayan as it should be..!!! Cheers 👍
👍🙏
Watching you review before I could tune into others..certainly it was a good one,, A le man point of view makes us to trust this bike even more.. As we hardly go into motocross tracks on daily basis.. Performance on tarmac and on trails matter the most to majority.. Good one bossky ಅಣ್ಣಾ..
🙏 thanks.
What more dose an average rider need the new engine is a vast improvement ,jimmy Australia we have a lot of bush roads in Aust this would be the bike for most riders ,bang for buck you can’t beat it
👍
That.. Hellooo.. ages like a wine.
🙏
Trust me the entire video is was fixated on the himalayan view…
Knowing what your experience has to offer it’s a treat to enjoy
Many thanks. Cheers.
It's something when a youtuber rides and it's something when a expert rides in TH-cam... Someday brother I would love to visit you with my bike... Keep it comin
Thanks a ton. 🙏
Sir, You have an amazing way of explaining your experiences. I think if you have a video in kannada then a whole section of audience would get your insights and can make decisions better. (Just a suggestion)
Thanks for the good suggestion.

you cater to riders like us...great review, sir...
I try. Thanks.
what a beautiful vlog...need more like this...sensible driving and awesome candid comments as always...Lots of love
Thanks a ton. 🙏
Awesome review, thanks! it helps to judge better now
Glad it was helpful!
Big bear, even though I am no moto vlogger ,I’d like to recommend the chin strap mount for a more first person perspective for a better look at the dash.
Thanks for the tip!
Can't believe Himalaya's roads are better then my city's road
Surprise!!!
I have booked one.and i fall in love with himalayan 452.and my first RE motorcycle also❤❤❤
Good choice
The integrated indicator/brake lights do look good but in case of a fall that would be the first thing to go. It does looks an expensive part replacement 😅. Form over function
Looks good. Function and form. I've explained why this was done.
@bigbearbangalore agreed with the explanation, but not convinced that this was the only possibility. Think all of us who have ridden old himalayan on rough terrains know how many time the indicators have broken.
@@preethamrs93I agree with you 100%.
I have already placed order for JAWA 42 rear brake light in Black colour. Will fit perfectly & wire tap for connection.
RE is dumb. Made the rear end lamps like a road side mod job from Karol Bagh.😆
Congrats on you first review on road i guess, you should do similar style with you vstrom 650 and why you say you are getting used to ride by wire, what would be the difference? I don't think I've never ridden any ride by wire bikes yet.
Thanks. The fraction of a second lag is what I need to get used to. Nothing major. And I notice that because this is the first ride by wire I've ridden.
That music from art of unwinding days 🤌🏻🤌🏻
👍
Namskara Sir, I have a 2018 Dom, covered 84800kms on it.I am happy with her however due to time, wear, tear, I want to change my ... (It's tough to say)... My ride. I never had RE built ever in my life. I see RE has come a long way to get this Himalayan as one garage bike. It would be a crying for help if u could suggest to blindly go for "The Himalayan". Based on all the inputs thru the internet I know it can cruise at my sweet spot 110km/hr.
Test ride multiple times and choose.
If we are riding responsibly at our comfortable speed then we are embracing the pure joy of riding.
🙏👍
Does the new himalayan provide us auxilliary light as an accessory option?
Not yet. But looks like there'll be aux lights accessory from the company.
Well definitely looks like it has ample power at high altitude , lovely engine bark , good stuff .WRT the ride by wire lag , I’m sure some fix to that exists .
A great real use review .
Thanks.
Mate, love your ride and chat video!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks.
Learned a very safe riding after seeing your video!
Glad to hear that!
Great review sir! You cover those engineering details so well that riders dont even notice unless we ourselves ride for a few hundred kms after buying the bike or experience issues with our motorcycle.
My one question would be this or Scrambler 400x if my motto is highway+mountain touring but NO hardcore offroading (trail bashing stuff) ?
H450 for touring and exploring
Nice video bosky bro, keep posting new content like this
Thanks, will do!
That starting music reminded me of Baron Von Grumble!!
👍
Another great video, you cater to riders like us. Thank you 😊
Which route was this ? Doesnt seem like the usual Gramphu route to Kaza.
Thsnks. Rohtang to Kaza.
Hi sir request you to have a q&a live sessions with your subscribers
Noted. 🙏
Big bear getting bigger!
😀🙏
9:36 It looks to me that lord Alto is a very capable off-roader, might give a very tough competition to the Himalayan 😂
Thanks
Uppi daada Zindabaad 😂, thanks for the wonderful review 😃
😀👍
Hii sir pls vid make how to adjust bike chain and clutch free play.....
Ok will check on this.
👍
Great insights and interesting vlog. I just wish your mic quality or post processing of audio could have been more better coz your voice isn't bearable to ears in this video specifically.
Sorry to be unbearable.
Hello uncle.. how r u.. u r doing good.. u and Himalayan.. wonderful to see..
Am ok and hope you too. Thanks.
I wonder how it performs at river crossings. Considering the kerb weight and the luggage would it still have the power to get through rocks, slushy, muddy and sandy water.
No issues
Hi Boski, please make a video about anti-puncture liquids for tube tyres.
Will check on this possibility. Thanks.
Hey Bosky! Need a major suggestion from you.. i was an Himlayan owner, just sold and booked myself an adv 390 rally version..
So I’m pretty confused that i made a choice or not or should i go for himlayan 452 ?
The 390ADV is a good choice. And you could hold on a bit of possible, test ride the H450 say in Dec. And then take a call.
@@bigbearbangalore thanks ! Quick question- since you’ve test ridden the himlayan 452 ,what would Bosky had done ? Bosky had gone from the new himlayan 452 or adv 390 Rally ?
That guy who gave you the fly by is a perfect example of don't be a gama in the land lama.
🫡🙏
Hey,
Can you please give me a suggestion on how i can keep the engine casing in a good state? I had buffed the casing and due to rains i got marks again. I was thinking of getting a matte black paint done. Any sprays you can recommend? I have an inty 650.
No realistic way. Need to keep at it often.
Sir i cant find your old video in which you had compared all the royal enfields?
Can you please share the link i think it was a reel or a shorts.
Thank you
It's an Insta reel.
Hi hope u had your lovely time with the new Himalayan . Please let me know the rear suspension feel new vs old . Thats the only thing I am skeptical about . I had the 2021 himalayan and sold it off to buy the G310GS . Now am considering buying the Himalayan 452 . What are your honest thoughts on the comparison of the rear suspension . Cheers !!!
I did. Please check the other review video where I speak about it. And, the suspesion overall quite good.
Great review, thanks for your efforts. Heard that this bike has a stalling issue, have you experienced anything like that, if yes, how bad is it?
Thanks. No issues I faced. And like I've said in the video, it's probably getting used to the ride by wire and till such time, stalling may happen.
Amazing review Sir🎉
Glad you liked it!
helloooo sir this is Punith I am eagerly waiting to get a bike confusion between the new ROYAL ENFIELD Himalayan 450 or KTM adventure Plz suggest sir
Test ride and choose.
First time is always difficult.....now on you'll enjoy it, trust me!😂
I hope so!
Sir, you mentioned your old Himalayan had this issue that the wind screen would create some buffering around your helmet. Do you think RE was able to resolve that with the new one?
Looks like.
Sir please talk about picking up first batch vehicles
Personally I don't have a problem with this first batch. Am ready to face and overcome the issues. It's a personal choice of each. No right, no wrong.
Hello sir, I'm a newbie to this adventure-touring world. I would love to start with the long rides now. But, I lack the knowledge about the best bikes that are available in the market for a newcomer like me. Which bike would you suggest to me and all the newbies who would love to join this touring world? Could you please make a video about this and help us out?
Many choices. Depends on your appetite.
Why my bike got a lag in acceleration and some counter weight feeling on chain when applying sudden acceleration on FZv3 .
Get it checked. Can't say what it is without inspection.
The moto vloggers might face some issues with the digital display. It flickers a lot and doesn't give a clear picture to the viewers. What do you say ?
That's only on camera due to frequency mismatch. In real, no flicker.
Hi Sir,
Blown away by Himalayan 452, missed in 2016. Can I get one for city purpose. Do we face any issues while driving in city majority of time.
Thanks.
Test ride and know. Dec first week.
Sir does it support google maps offline download feature???
As long as the phone transmits the data, I think yes.
@@bigbearbangalore Thank you for the reply sir 😁
Nice 👍
Thanks ✌
hi sir as per your knowledge tubeless wheels comes as a accessories or a kind of top variant ?? meanwhile if we book and get the tube rim it remine waste of the product and spend money on the tube rim in over all cost is waste if we buy tubeless wheels as a accessories .your opinion sir what to do .!!
Yes and don't know when they will come since it involves and government agency. It's your choice to wait or buy and change.
Made in 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🇮🇳 🙏 ♥️
👍
Beautiful bike!!! Do you think it is a beginner friendly as a first bike!? I am 1,82cm high with 100kg weight looking passing from maxi scooters to proper motorcycles. Thanx and regards from far away Serbia 🇷🇸✌️
It is!! Yes it is a beginner friendly motorcycle. Cheers!
@@bigbearbangalore Thank you, looking forward to see it live in my country next year!! Any bad vibrations or engine heat!? Thank you ✌️
@svaralen no vibes, but a buzz at some RPM. And about heat I don't know about at sealevel and tropical climate since we were at 7,000ft altitude.
Which Himalayan is best for new bikers to travel
old Himalayan or new Himalayan 450 for drive?
New
Sir, can you share your opinion on Hunter 350.!
Please check the longer TH-cam video on my channel on the Hunter.
Sir I thought of buying Scrambler 400x. But after this RE Himalayan launch I am expecting RE scrambler in near time by same engine of Himalayan . So my doubt is how is the new engine in comparison with scrambler 400x. And I see some people telling about vibration in scrambler 400/speed above 6000 RPM, can you please make me clear on this. and Can Scrambler 400x or new Himalayan engine cruise effortlessly at 120kph on highways?
Ride the H450 and then decide. Yes, above 600 rpm, there are vibes on the 400X.
Gear indicator is not available ?
Don't even know that 😀 Didn't even look for that.
It's there brother just like Bosky said look for it😅 You will find it!!!
Real fun starts @16:08
🙏
Hi, Bosky, pls suggest which one is better choice for biker like you between KTM 390 Adventure and New Himalayan 450 , pls advise
450 is now my choice.
Thanks
I rode KTM 390 Adventure for aprox 700 Km, both on Tarmac and on trails, it was very less tiring, does new Himalayan 450 has similar feeling or it’s more tiring then KTM 390 Adventure, pls share your experience
Hi sir
Is it true that aftermarket air filters like BMC, K&N don't filter dust and sand better as compared to stock air filters?? Confused if i should fit K&N on my Mt-15
I think they do a good job.
@bigbearbangalore Alright, sir. Thank you. I was confused since i watched a few videos where a person poured some sand and dust on stock and aftermarket filters. The aftermarket ones failed to filter everything but the OEM did it better
Super 🎉
Thanks.
If you can enlighten me on engine breaking.. whether it is recommended or is it better to avoid it
Regular riding, regular engine braking is useful and no harm.
Sometimes too much is being made of this which is relevant if one's on a race track.
Out on the public roads, from slow to reasonably fast public road speeds, it's a standard habit and useful and no harm to the engine.
@@bigbearbangalore thanks .. it was helpful
Hellooo, you own this bike now. is the bike worth buying?
To me yes and its just 700 kms old.
How do you find the cornering compared to stock bs6 himalayan 411 sir.
Better on this.
Hi sir, I own a 350 classic 2020, the back tire (tubless, alloy) seems to loose pressure comparatively very fast. Not sure if this is an issue you have come across as well.
I haven't. Could be a leaking valve. Or a slow small punchure. Get it checked thoroughly.
@@bigbearbangalore have done that to no luck...we found some leak through the sides at place where the tire meets the rims....they cleaned the rim and everything put the tire back but still there is that leak.
May be rim change then?
Question - Do New Himalaya rides better than Xpulse 200 4v off road ?
Hard to compare a 200cc 160kg against a 450cc 196kg
@@bigbearbangalore true
Sir i saw this video 3 times how is the quality of the bike ?
Quite good.
Shall I book it or wait for tubeless tyre setup
Your decision.
Is the seat height higher than Himalayan 411cc (800cm)?
805mm low seat accessory
Sir is the engine refine I feel harsh sound In the video
It's smooth
how would this act in traffic at the speed of 40 50 in city
We'll find out exactly when we get the chance to do so. Should be OK.
Sir what’s your motovlogging camera
DJI Osmo
@@bigbearbangalore thank you 🙏
whats you height sir? Is it good and comfortable for 5'8 or 5'6?
Am 5'9" and infuse the 845 setting. So the 825 should be good for you. Else, the low seat 805 is available.
Awesome sir. Thanks@@bigbearbangalore
Hope the price is under 3lakh on road
👍
How are the vibrations on this?
I've shared about vibes in the other video of this motorcycle posted at the same time.
For about 8 minutes you are just roraing about the R O A R, you happiest about the bike roar
Yes I am.
And when one doesn't enjoy something, time apears to moves slowly. 1 min can seem like 8 mins. So, I get what you say.
