- 1993 Mercedes Benz 190E Limited Edition www1ownercarguy... LE They only made 700 of these Limited Edition Cars. This car is as clean as can be. It is a 1 Owner Car and only has 101K Original Miles and it shows. It is very rare to see them in this color and it is one of my favorite. Then you throw in the tan interior tan interior and Wow Body this is a sweet car.

My grandma gave me hers, it has 230, 000 miles on it, and it still drives extremely smooth. However I am very gentle on it. It's a fragile beauty.
A great clean example. I had the 190E w201 2.6 20 years ago. I have a 1988 w201 2.6 again with only 98.5k miles. Beautiful drive on these over-engineered machines. Enjoy them if you have one!
My first car (in 1997) was a 1987 190e 2.3 engine.
My second car (in 1999) was a 1993 190e 2.6 engine.
Has always been my favorite car. Absolutely, a beautiful car.
Nowadays, I drive a 2004 Optima and the ONLY reason I even like it is because I've learned to work on it. Haven't been to a mechanic in over 3 years. Got a lot of pride in my ride but, MAN, I would love to own this old car again.
5:42 gotta love the interior on the W201. This one has the optional wood trim on the glove box and around the instrument cluster. Absolutely gorgeous. My 190E 2.6 has the same electric leather seats but no extra wood trim. I'm kind of jealous of that haha. It's too bad there is no smellovision because these leather interiors smell amazing as well.
This is one of the best ever Mercedes cars. Even the King of Jordan had one and it is in his Royal Automobile Museum in Amman even now! Along with all his various lovely other cars and bikes!
There is nothing like the 190 class. I drove a 1988 190D. Very good car. They just don't make em like they used to.

Yep Nathan this was the limited production 190-Class edition with leather seats and Burl Walnut wood. If I recall I did saw one just like the one you are showing either in 1993 or 1994 in San Jose. I haven't seen one on the road in the San Francisco Bay Area ever since. Gosh, I'm surprise I have a photographic memory for my age...My Best, MJL!

Beautiful Car! I have a 1993 190E 2.3 Liter. It has an idling problem... It either idles too high at 1000-3000 RPMs or its erratic. I've replaced the Idle Control Valve and the Compensator and it still Idles weird. I don't know what the problem is. Any ideas?
I believe it's the Sportline LE 190e that was only 700 made, not this one. The Sportline was only black with black leather seat with red trim on them.
That was the first Mercedes my dad owned
Once I had one car brand like that bur in dark black color, I kept it for 11 years, and many times people stopped me and asked to sale it because it has a prestige.

+jpracingph holy hell, its not a restored museum piece, its a very clean non restored car. ive never seen one this nice without restoration ever, and id like you to provide an example of a better one in the states
Evan Shea Its not about needing to find a cleaner example. I just hate it when these salesmen try to impute "super clean" and "clean as can be" like it is when it isn't. And, I never said it was restored. And, if you haven't seen one cleaner than this unrestored, sucks for you but don't think others haven't.
The Best is the Horn of the car. I have this with double Horn. Girls beside the road love it :-)

Nathan, you may consider passing some parts of the clip trough TH-cam's editor > Stabilize
It does wonders and helps create clips which are as stable as if your camera is mounted on one of these expensive hydraulic arms for professional movie operators

The ML was the first MB made in the US. Some are bulit in Mexico, but I don't think the 190 was one of them.
Do you know of a video on TH-cam where I can find out how to change a fuse in the fuse box on a 93 Mercedes benz 190e. I have my backup lights out and think it might be the fuse.

That car is in just awesome condition. Mercedes just went downhill beginning with the W202. As far as amenities goes, what does the W124 have that the W201 doesn't?
I had the ‘93 190e in Emerald Green I limited edition. I loved that thing. Horribly underpowered (could have at least put the 2.6 in it instead of the 2.3 or maybe put a turbo on it), but so gorgeous!

Sorry bro... thats not a 190e LE. They only made 3 colours, blue, burgundy and silver.
They also all come with a spoiler, leather seats, and 8 spoke rims.
Also it wasn't 700 it was a 1000 made and each came with a certificate.
I only know this because I own one, so sorry dude.

you dont do the w202's? you said 93 and down for the ''c class'' thats just 190e , i guess the 202's were part of the last real ones, at least the styling is that of the w140, and w124
"C class" naming didnt begin until the w202. It is a bit confusing though, to call this an E class, but be on a completely different chassis. So, I guess it was for the best for simplicity's sake that the C class came about.
Without doubt, the best built CAR in the World, go's to show what you can do when you spend £6m on developing a car as Merceðes-Benz did for that car !!

Everything I see come up about the 190e Limited Edition 1/700 are all kitted out with red and black interior, shift knob with the #/700 on it and E class wheels. I dont understand this one.
