Primavera means "spring" in Italian. Limited to 100 pieces, a special version that was intended exclusively for the Swiss market at the end of model production and was presented at the 1993 Geneva Motor Show as the 190E 1.8 or 2.3. The edition is characterized, among other things, by a pearl color paint "Tourmaline-green-metallic" (Code 269), unusual polka dot upholstery (Code 366), a set of green velour carpets with Mercedes-Benz lettering and wood paneling "Burr walnut "(Code 731). Compared to the "Avantgarde Verde", the "Primavera" differs in the following points: instead of the 2.5 diesel, there is either a 1.8 or 2.3-liter petrol engine under the hood and the wood paneling is not "bird's eye maple green" but "burr walnut". It was delivered with eight-hole rims with 205/55/15 tires. The "Verde" had 15-hole alloy wheels as standard equipment. Only the green and black dotted "Anton" upholstery as well as the onboard folder and key case are identical.
