    whats the difference exporing in 24 or 60 because you shooted in 60? thanks

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Once the footage is slowed down from 60 in all or part of the footage, there wouldn’t be enough frames left per second to export at 60 fps so it would end up looking choppy.

    When you film someone's property horizontally for TH-cam, do you also do another walkthrough and film vertically, or do you just edit the horizontal video?

    Can you do a gimbal moves for those into land banking real estate

  • @larryisaacs5980
    @larryisaacs5980 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Could you list the set-up you use on the DJI OM5 gimbal, for videoing RE. Mine just does not move correctly as I walk through a room (follower is off) but iPhone still moves after I stop moving. Also find that i have to click twice to recent the gimbal after every clip. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! I just have used it on the factory default settings. But gimbal settings (checking the app) says Follow mode: Follow, Follow Speed: Medium, Control stick speed: Slow. If you want it to be a little easier you can change it to Tilt locked mode on Follow Mode but I like to be able to add tilt to movements pretty often so I dont like that too much. How is your balancing? It should feel pretty balanced when you hold your phone by the part that connects to the phone and magnets to the gimbal. Could be off if it's too far over to one side causing it to do unwanted movements. Let me know if that helps!

    Great video! Question, when shooting with your iPhone and since the lenses are too small, at what time is best to shoot due to low light issues and to be able to avoid grainy pixeled videos? And other question, what if a house is too dark and your videos looks grainy/pixeled, how can you fix that? Thanks in advance for answering!

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks! Mid-day is usually pretty good for interiors since the light will be similar on all sides of the house with the sun on top. But it depends on the house , some are just super dark! For those the best bet is to do all you can to raise the ambient light (lights on, lamps on, windows open etc) and film at a slower frame rate like 24 or 30 to get a cleaner image. Otherwise film some with your middle lens since it has a lower aperture and can let more light into the phone to get a cleaner image. You can do some noise reduction in editing but for phones it’s likely to just end up looking bad w/ no detail.

      @@TaylorBrownPhotoVideo Thanks for replying and for all the tips! I’m a beginner at this and maybe I want to start creating real state videos, but right now I only my have my iPhone instead of a pro camera to start with. Do you advise shooting at 24fps or is better 60fps to slow down the videos in post? And for last, by any chance you have like a cheat sheet for shooting angles as guide? I mean like start first with the entrance, then move to living room, etc etc 🙏🏼😅

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I do have a cheat sheet! Here's the link drive.google.com/file/d/1mlo0tWQvN-GVmqTJ5-3Qa0WN1nVSJAXD/view?usp=sharing I really like using 30fps unless it's just super bright and 60 is no problem. 80% playback speed usually looks how I'm aiming for in the edit! You'll just need to practice a bit and get a feel for how quick to move so it ends up looking how you want it to once slowed down. @@alono4473 This video will probably be helpful for you - it breaks down pretty much the simplest approach to making these kinds of videos. Hi Taylor.
    Thanks for making this video. Every bit helps. VN is a pretty cool app but i switched to inshot paid version because of extra features.
    I use my iPhone 11 on wide angle. Getting some good results.
    Question.: I see that you shot this video in portrait and not landscape. Why?
    Question.: Were you using the iphone camera app or 3rd party?
    Question.: on normal or wide angle?
    Thanks

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  ปีที่แล้ว

      Either have someone else do it, close it and reverse the edit, or record opening starting closer to the drawer so it doesn’t show your hand and move away a bit after it’s all the way open. A few ideas!

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey! No I haven't
      But I used their 12mm for the real estate test shots with the BMPCC6K PRO th-cam.com/video/rT2I0GzCgc0/w-d-xo.html
      and the wide POV shots on this video with my C200 (not the talking parts) if you want to see some samples. Both are with super 35mm sensors so would be similar to 16 focal length.
      th-cam.com/video/Gly3VY4zUG8/w-d-xo.html
      I liked the way the lens worked, though (focus ring, aperture ring etc) and as long as you're comfortable with MF they are sharp.

    Awesome video, 2 questions, do you shoot with the wide angle lens on your iPhone or regular ? and is there any way to implement trending audios from TikTok/Reels ?
    Thanks for the videos I have a shoot next Tuesday and am going to try this out !

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks! Ultrawide for all of these shots. I haven't done that but off the top of my head you would need to download the audio from TikTok (maybe just download a video with it and rip the audio from it), put that into your editing for the music layer, edit your footage to the timing you want, then upload to TikTok (mute your edited music layer) and add the TikTok audio layer from their selections to it so it will show up connected with the other trending videos with that song (I THINK). I would imagine it might auto-recognize it if you just upload with the same audio too - just try it out and see what happens / what works. Also you could probably do that in reverse so have your own audio version of the song and mute the one you add on TikTok if you can manage that. Let me know what works!

      Hey! Same for you. It might be unbalanced. Try connecting to the app and running the calibration on there and see what it says. Only thing to do will be sliding your phone one way or the other so it feels more balanced when turned off. Otherwise try the front trigger button, might be what you meant but that’s the one that locks the position. Last option is check your speed settings in the app and slow them all down to slow the movements. I keep mine as slow as possible and on pan follow mode. Let me know how it goes

  • @Gustaiiv

    What frame rate do you shoot in? 60 frames make good slowmo, but do I shoot 24 frames since a normal speed level with 60 seems jittery? I struggle with this when trying to practice.

    • @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo
      @TaylorBrownPhotoVideo  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Great question. I really prefer 30 for everything except detail shots (usually I use 60 on those) for real estate and I slow it down to 80% speed on a 24 fps timeline so it smooths out a little bit.
