You can attach them to each other with velcro. It was warm and soft to sleep on, and I slept like a baby. I got them from a second hand sofa and they threw away the rest of it. When you put them on top of each other, they make a good foot rest. You can also use them outside for a picnic.

Beautifully crafted, well done! Such a good use of space. I love the kitchen kit in the door panel, so innovative. Costco sells camping mattress pads. Rather narrow for one person. But boy are they excellent! I have used mine for years in my RV. Very firm, but not rock hard. Great for the back. I think $30. They also sell a double, but not tested. The single mat is self inflating, durable, and a good buy. I thought the lockable roof rack was genius. So much space for big things, very well done! Dylan, thank you for lowering the volume of the music. I still find is obnoxious, but appreciate the ultra low volume which irritates less. Nice tour! Just that music issue.
Absolutely awesome dude; no nonsense; cheap and practical with minimal upkeep; you can mostly just replace something when it packs up. Give that man a Bells; make it a double.
I’m waiting to see one of these mini campers with a real wet bath and/or shower and potty! I have a pathetic bladder so at night I can’t run around outside every hour to urinate etc. if ya find that, I’m on it!
Just bought a 2003 Ford e- 450 short bus with 129,000 miles on it. So stoked to get this thing ready for an adventure. Just started putting the floors in today.
Less really is more! I like the minimalist feel of your build. I have wondered why others don't sleep on the floor of the van...gives you way more headroom when sitting up in bed too, and if you need one, there is a wide range of sleeping pads. I'm impressed!
I agree, floor sleeping is fine especially if you are already used to camping and have a decent sleeping mat. As for this van it is simply the best and I'm thrilled to see it because I'm planning to do a tiny one like this too. Previously did the full size VW T3 camper (25 years ago) round Australia, and then drove and lived in a horse drawn wagon for several years (8 years ago) and now I feel van life calling me again.
Sleeping on the floor is the best! Yogi & Locals in Asia do it all the time! Great setup & layout. Perfect size! Not dreadful when it comes to parking lol
This is a beautiful, compact Travel Cabin with the necessary life support and comfort amenities. The delightful, ergonomic and airy interior is particularly special, and I find it to be elegantly simple and simply elegant!
Love that no one knows that you have a camper van! I would want the same thing. A lot more privacy. Great job! I like how you used the back door for cooking, spice rack ect.
Excelente.
