I'm glad you mentioned snacks, even if just barely. It's easily the most important item to pack and often the most forgotten.

I’d add you need something (tape, armboard, dope card holder) for your stage data as well as a couple of alcohol markers and alcohol prep pads. I buy plastic ID card blanks and throw some Velcro on the back for armboards and/or rifle mounted dope card holder. I have enough of these that I can grab a fresh one without needing to erase until the end of the day. I’d also mention some kind of optics cleaning (air blower, Lenspen, microfiber wipe, etc)

Whats that foldable cleaning rod? Was looking for the same thing - cant tell you the times - especially in rimfire where I have had extraction issues and needed a rod to pop the bullet out.

How did you get the Arca-lock clamp on the Ckye-Pod? That’s been my biggest gripe with mine

Price for the "10 items to ALWAYS have"???? $5,430.00 and that includes NOT a rifle.
Guys and gals.....you do NOT always need these items in your rifle bag. They are nice, but not always needed.
And trust me, I know this comment will get hate from the rich guys. Guess what? They can pound sand like everyone else who cant handle my opinion :)

Well, you can buy a decent set of Vortex binos with RF built in and save $2500. You can use a ballistics app and save $470. You can get an Atlas bipod and save $300. So now we’re down under $2k which is pretty reasonable, especially for gear that will last years that you can also use for hunting and general shooting. $50 per week gets you a $2600 yearly budget. You don’t have to be rich to save and buy quality gear. It’s a better investment than whatever disposable tech we’re both using to post these comments.
