I’m a two-pouch person. I change bags a lot, and the two pouches can fit in more different shaped spaces. One long skinny one like that pencil case is my hygiene pouch (wipes, chap stick, hand sanitizer, paracetamol, tissues) and a different pouch is EDC (knife, small multi-tool, torch, lighter, powerbank, mini cables, chap stick again, plasters and paracetamol again). The EDC is in a Maxpedition - the small one.
I did the same experiment, but I greatly prefer the multiple smaller pouches over one larger pouch, especially if I’m tucking those pouches into the admin panel of an Aer backpack. It just works better for me to grab my small tech pouch or my small personal effects pouch. Another nice video, Bo.

Just using one pouch to hold my usb cables, power banks, and charger which I usually transfer between my work and edc bags. I do think using another smaller pouch for small edc essentials would be nice, but right now most of those essentials I just keep in all my bags.
I use one pouch for my boo boo kit/utility and repair kit and my chargers and cables go in the internal pockets of my GORUCK GR1 (thanks because I discover goruck from your videos) since I use the same backpack everyday. The suggestion I’d like to make is to put the items that may spill inside small ziplock bags
I use 2 pouches primarily. The Evergoods CAP2 as my tech kit and the Topo Design mini should bag (with shoulder strap removed) as my medical kit to carry advil, vitamins, zicam, etc.
Love this one. I have one for all my charging / tech for travel. My problem is that I kinda need two of these since I sometimes leave from my office for work stuff and sometimes from home for travel and the pouch is usually in the other place

Just a video for me! I was dumb and left my tech organizer at home in the US when i flew back to my other home in DK. Like you, I absolutely love to put things in pouches. I think I would be more interested in the moment pouch. I have my boo boo kit in my glovebox, but I do carry a smaller one with me for bandaids, and diabetes supplies. I have no idea where my Fischer space pen ended up all these years. Maybe it is in the US from my pre-COVID trip. Shrug.
I was pouch guy. Lived out of CAP 2 and other smaller pouches. But since finding the A19 Whitley backpack they have a space for everything i was carrying. No i rock a sling bag for my daily edc and keep everything in the backpack. Ive tried to go away from that set up but its just too convenient for my life and i do the love the bag.

I have used pouches, sometime just one, sometime two, I have a few of the items you use, bandaids, meds, etc. I used to like the Maxpediton pouches, they come in various sizes and are easy to attach to bags or on a belt. LOL I use a Dakine pencil case for my things now, it matches my Dakine backpack, 😀 Funny my old camera backpack still has the pouch that I keep my spare battery, cables and those sensor wipe sticks in it. I wonder if our EDC will change when AI is doing more of things we do now.
May I ask, why you use a Anker power brick with double USBA, whil you could just use any of the 3 slot USBC and also charge your Notebook with that? I'm waiting for a decent powerbank with 2 usbc slots to finally convert my entire setup to USBC only.
It's actually only because I still have it and it works well. Plus it isn't as thick as most Gan chargers. Being as flat as it is, made it easier to pack in the smaller pouches. Once this breaks I will get a different charger
I doubt the CAP1 would fit the Powerbank, the charger and all the "bulkier" items like the tube of face lotion, the little bottle, the Nivea case, ... While a great pouch, it's not well suited for those kind of items. It's ideal for pens, cables, notebooks, strips of medicine, etc...

The Pioneer pouch looks like it would be a good choice if I had as much xEDC as you do. I am curious as to what the verdict will be in a few weeks. I would guess positive since it is mostly xEDC so the convenience of having only one pouch would win out in the end.

That's a good setup. If I would not change bags that often, I might have gone for your type of setup as well
