Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Brandon C... honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you summit the most difficult hikes in SWBC. Your unnerving climbing skills, and your flawless videography. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you stop hiking. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy over the years. I remember when you first summited Robie Reid, watching that video changed my life forever. Then you completed the Howe Sound Crest Trail in one day, and I couldn't believe it. I was crying, bawling even, and I heard my glorious king exclaim these words, "Hey there, thanks for watching the video. I thought I'd take some time at the end here, so you can get some information if you're looking for that". Not only have you changed the hiking scene of SWBC and the world forever, but you've eternally changed my world. And now you're posting less, but still the goat, my goat. I love you pookie bear, my glorious king, Brandon C
@@BCHikingHave you ever checked out the Crown couloir route? It’s a class 4 scramble up the north face of Crown Mountain from Hanes valley, seems like it would be right up your alley. Anyways, I can’t wait to see what you climb next!
I’m glad to see another video of yours in my feed, it’s been too long. Your videos are so well done. Loved the music in this one. This summer my friend and I, along with his two older boys and my oldest son did Sun Peak mtn. And close to summit on Mt. Severide in the Monashees (we live in the Okanagan). I would highly recommend getting up to Monashee Lake and climbing Severide and the Pinnacles. They are 8500’ + and beasts! At least for us they were. You’ll probably just have fun!
as a climber and lackluster videographer I am aspiring to start filming my missions in the mountains, what alwasys stumps me is how much effort it will be to get the shot, and the danger thats added. I must say man well done, the effort for the shot and the wuality of shots is great stuff!
Your videos are so well done for a solo creator. I love seeing you get after it! If you're up there again, it's only a short jaunt to Spearhead Peak from the backside of Blackcomb!
Yeah I'll probably go up there next year with my friends who have the summer edge card. Won't sleep in next year so I'll hopefully have time to do Spearhead too.
@@BCHiking Yeah it's tough with the race to get back to Gondola. I did the loop summiting blackcomb then spearhead then back down DOA in about 5 hours. Crazy to hear you did this in 5 hours AND filmed it! Beastmode lol
Thanks! I got a new camera, the Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6k Full Frame. Have been sort of considering the Panasonic S9 for this type of stuff, it would be a lot lighter but not sure of the image quality of that tiny cam.
Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K Full Frame! Just got it recently, and have paired it with the Canon 16-35mm F4. And sure if you like scrambling I'll be doing lots more next summer
@@BCHiking oh wow that's quite dedicated to bring that out there! Yes I may be in canada next summer (currently Arctic sweden filming paragliding hike n fly adventures) I sure do like a scramble :)

You can call me pookie bear anytime. I need to make an SWBC hiking onlyfans
Another fantastic video. The shot at 3:28 was unreal!
Thanks! They were fun sections to go up and down for the camera

Yup! Check out the end of my video, I have a preview of when I did it last year. I just have to sit down and edit it now
@@BCHiking haha i totally skipped over the ending part. Excited to see it!

I used to ski as a kid at Sun Peaks! Would love to get up there again, so I'll add Monashee Lake with Severide and the Pinnacles to the list.
Nice one man, keep it up, can't stop watching your adventures...
Thanks! I'll try to get more videos out, but they take time
Thanks for your amazing content!
You're welcome! Glad you appreciate the effort haha
Love this! Epic stuff. Looking forward to the next one. :)
Thanks! I'll get it out in a few weeks
Wow. As a hiker myself I need to say your footage looks impressive. Especially taking into account that some are saying it's solo made
Thanks! The equipment is heavy but makes for better footage than what I usually see online. And yeah all solo unless I'm hiking with a buddy!

It’s a lot of extra effort for sure. But it’s all worth it when you get nice comments like this one :)

Thanks!
Really great edit man. Well done
Thanks man. Hope you enjoyed
your content is so good man.
Thanks man. Sometimes my stuff gets heavy but when you leave nice comments it makes it all worth it :)
Wow! You finally updated the channel, this is awesome! I love the open-gate video. Was it shot on a Panasonic camera?

beauty
Thanks Rob. Wanna do the West Coast trail or Golden Hinde on the island next year?

we should do something together :)
