  • hello everyone, so my Samsung tv js7000 model gave me the WiFi issues and i tried fixing it for a long time and couldn't. This problem is not only for the js7000 series. I had warranty on my TV, mike from TV visual and video corp came by to fix it. In this video i will show you the issue, and the trouble shooting steps you can try and look up, and how to change the WiFi card if all fails.

    What is the name of device the engineer replace on the WiFi board

      That piece he pointed to and replaced is the Wi-Fi card or module itself. The other green board on that black housing is for the Bluetooth

      Check the model number and search it on Google a bunch of them do pop up. Also check that link to see what model the Wi-Fi module is compatible with so you know if u have the right one.

    Wonderful guide. Under rated definitely. I am using LAN instead of wifi, WAN card problem and samsung demands 25k for replacement. Their pathetic engineers were of no use

    I’m having this problem on both of my brand new Samsung TVs! This is unacceptable, brand new TVs should not have this issue. For the cost of these things I could’ve got 4 Vizo TVs for the same price I bought 2 Samsung’s for. Will be returning

    Did the following:
    1. Unplug for 10mins -fail
    2. Factory reset -fail
    3. Firmware update via cat5 -fail - didn't detect an update (1570)
    4. Router next to the tv and cat5 - worked
    Will try to look for update online and update via usb. TV is 10 yrs old.hu9000

    I just got a free 2012 vintage Samsung from my work since our office closed. Same exact problem with how it cannot find the wifi yet everything else around me is connected. Grr

      Older Samsung model tvs need a LAN adapter for wifi.

    Who would have thought. Firmware for updating tv. What happened to the 3rd troubleshooting ? My only problem is slow WiFi considering the price Optimum charges. Great vid! 👍🏽👍🏽

    Hi man, I have samsung smart tv UN55 and it doesn't pop up the wifi connection. I try to fix step by step in youtube but it doesn't work at all, and if I connect the wired internet connection and its work.. So that's mean my wifi card is broken? Thanks if you help me fix my wifi problem.

    i can never understand why this is such a prevalent problem with samsung...i went thru this problem...now i avoid samsungs ...luckily i bought it at costco so it was easy to return...ive never had aproblem with other brands...just samsung...its ridiculous how they cant get this solved...people spending a thousand dollars and having to put up with this problem...this is an ongoing prpblem whihch has been going on for years with many of their models...and still they barely even recognise there is a problem

      Back in November I had a chance to buy a 70inch Samsung tv but because of some of these issues I didn’t buy it. I went with a lg 70 inch instead. I also do have a friend with the same issue he had the tv model below this one. His tv updated a couple of years back and the Wi-Fi just stopped working. So they lost out on my sale, I wonder how many others they lose out on because of these problems

    What service and router dd you have when that happened?

      Spectrum, and the model number of the router is in the netgear video I have up I’ll have to check when I get a chance. But I had Verizon before spectrum and it did the same

    My tv has the same problem ..everything is fine except the wifi connection ..It would be great if u reply to this deez..My tv's firmware version is 1550 but the website's last version is just 1530 ..how will i update the firmware if its older than the one in my TV currently...or can I just remove the WiFi card connectors and join it again after sometime MYSELF??

      If you want you can try the 1530 firmware from the website, make sure the usb drive has nothing on it and unzip the file before you put it on the flash drive. Maybe reverting it to a older firmware might work. I’m not exactly sure. Did you try to factory reset your tv? I like to try everything possible before opening the tv up and having to pay for parts or someone to fix it

    I have the same issue with curved screen. I tried the troubleshooting but nothing works. So how do i get the replacement part? Is this guy a Samsung technician ?

      When I bought the tv I bought the warranty with it from Amazon at the time, and that was the contracting tech they sent out to me

    Im having almost the same password. MODEL UN50NU6900FXZA. I noticed that the USB port stopped working, so i did the best thing i restored the tv back to factory default. I figured that was it. Nope not me i always get the problems Noone can figure out. Anyways. Now no wifi. So tried everything even went into the development menu. I didn't see any thing wrong. Now no Wi-Fi USB port downloaded the new update but I can't install it because my USB port don't work.. connected it to ethernet that works but I can't do any updates that way. The main issue with the Wi-Fi was it said it had no network certificate I called Samsung fuck down the websites everything and they said I have to contact my ISP provider which is bull. I wouldn't mind using the TV off the internet but on my devices connect through my TV and my Alexa any suggestions

    my frame tv has no usb port, so i can't update the software. 60 seconds unplugging didn't work, reset didn't work, dns change didn't work, wifi router is not the problem...help I'm desperateee T.T

    My tv has the same problem. Everything is working but it just won’t connect to a server to online.

      Nicholas Giambrone did you run thru the trouble shooting steps I tried in the video? Cause I know Samsung tv has the one where you manual set the dns setting to 0’s I think

      @@deezreviews yea it does. I tried 0000 or 8888 and even 8844. I looked up so many ways. This happened out of the blue. Had it for about a year. When I go to network and it says wireless or wired and I click on wireless because I always had it on wireless and try clicking on my network that it normally runs on. Nothing pops up. Not even another network.

      Ouch your sounding like my situation, did you try the firmware update? By putting it on a flash drive and putting it on the tv?

      Only other way I’m thinking if that didn’t work is to some how get a wired connection to your tv

      My tv does not have a camera on the top. I know the older 1080p TVs probably 2 years model before that one that did have the camera on top you were able to press down on it and it would pop up

      @@deezreviews glad he knows that isn't a Wi-Fi module because he has the same tv as you. However I bet every person watching this knows its a Wi-Fi module and he's clipping on the single black snap on round wire used as the antenna, and a camera has a ribbon cable connection not a single wire. Some people are ignorant. I'm having the same issue with my Samsung UN50EH5300. Its been like this since About 3 weeks after I bought it however I hooked it up via a cat 5 cable and it worked so I just left it. I didn't care because It worked so I just left it that way. Well last week I wanted to cast from my phone and It wouldn't work cause it said I wasn't on the same network. Well now I want to be on the same network so I can cast from my phone so I will need to go look for a new Wi-Fi module. I hope I don't try and replace the camera on my TV cause I don't have a camera on my TV at all. Unless he knows something I don't know!

      if you can find the part number of the Wi-Fi module on your tv it will be easier to find online

      @@deezreviews No problem I cant stand people like that. Like yu made a video of him swapping the wrong thing out. I do have a question did that fix your issue. As far as mine its the Wi-Fi module that's bad. I did find it on the website you posted. Its the same one used on about 25 different models so that's why so many have the same issue. Thanks for the video I kind of figured that was it but like I said its been connected wired so i never thought about it until I tried to cast from my phone and it wouldn't work and this issue is its cause its not on the same network. So I ordered the part. I'll keep you updated when it gets here.

      @@mjj5276 I had a 4k insignia in my room that also failed after 2 years, a small black spot appeared at the bottom of the screen and then after a week it would not turn back on.
