The Internet: Destroying the mystique of New Order for 2 decades and counting. Seriously. I grew up loving this group without knowing ANYTHING about them, because In America there was very little to find about them. That mystique was a big part of the appeal.
I agree 1000%! Saw them in concert in Seattle and it was a trip. Here are these dudes standing on the stage in normal jeans and oxfords and just playing these amazing songs with minimum movement. I didn’t even remember seeing Gillian there cause it was like she just stood shyly in the back and you knew NOTHInG about her....but she created these amazing sounds.
Just imagining Joy Division and Ian at Live Aid (11:13-11:36) if he never committed suicide would have been so Grand.. but then on the hand we wouldn't get to hear Blue Monday or Your Silent Face and such.

Loved this when I came out xx
5:01 if you wanna skip the ASMR n get to the Documentary.
Hey man I liked the ASMR
What a voice, you narrator!
it's so lovely to see the hold times with Hooky!
There is something in Manchester's water. The musical culture is unmatched anywhere else in the world.
This women’s voice, my gosh, I can’t
I feel happy to see hooky again 🖤😍😎
It is a sad fact that he will never make peace & reconcile with the band.
Just imagining Joy Division and Ian at Live Aid (11:13-11:36) if he never committed suicide would have been so Grand.. but then on the hand we wouldn't get to hear Blue Monday or Your Silent Face and such.
why are the peter interview clips in a brothel?
Hadn't even been on for 60 seconds and there's a adverts - fuck!
Hah, never knew what Tony Wilson was like in real life until I watched this, but Steve Coogan played him fucking perfectly in 24hr pp. This documentary is literally just the band taking the piss.
N.O. is that group that musically should be... but it is... and I love it.
Almost 9 minutes in and bang there he is: Bono.
Well, at least this is before the pre-tax cheat, overly arrogant, U.N. chastising, self important, and Neo Dad Rock Bono.
I’m seeing them at The 02 Dome in September 29 2023
How were they?
