My grandfather flew FE2bs on night bombing duties from Jan 1918 onwards. His log book shows over 300 hours of operational flying which seems unbelievable from an arcraft which is so bizarre and looks so frail. This model is, as others have commented, also unbelievable - it is really very good indeed, thank you for sharing.

Not really! The perfect music would be either classical or early 1920' Jazz. What he chose is not only too modern for the period but boring and repetitious also! But that's just me and everyone's different.

What a great build....but I kept thinking two things looking at this flying bird cage...one... the guys that flew them had to have not brass ones...but titanium nads....and second ...that von Richthofen blasted a bunch of these out of the sky in his early career (13 of them I believe)

Very nice, I love these pushers. I enjoy using electric guitar "E" strings for rigging. I like the real steel look and nice reflection of light on them. Yours looks terrific! May I please ask what did you use? The rigging brackets on the cabbane struts really look nice. Thank you for your dedication.

Stringbag is an understatement. That rigging looks so complex and tedious. I'm looking at my copy of the kit and wondering how exactly I am going to tackle that rigging. I wish I knew how you achieved that "see-through" finish on the wings. Very authentic look. Congratulations on a great model. Is there another of your videos where you show how you achieved that paint finish on the fabric?

Interesting early fighter design. I can't imagine that upper gun was very useful. It looks like it has a very limited arc of fire and would be very dangerous for the gunner to stand up and operate.

I don't like the Fe.2B. It's a failure construction in WW1. A great heavy fighter and bomber with two MGs for the observer but ten 2nd one was only useless weight. Immelmann, Wintgens and Boelcke downed a lot of them. Neverteless, the Wingnut Wings kit and also the work are Champaign under the ordinary sparkling wines in model kits.

By all accounts I've read of WW1 aviation, it was considered a death trap for their crews. But so were a LOT of other WW1 aircraft. For that matter, a WW2 bomber crew was no picnic either.
