Another hint. Put your roundel circle on first, you can place it perfectly where you want it, like a decal. Then apply the outside mask around it. Great modeling overall, Sir.
Hello A great job, for those of us who are starting out with the models, it would be good (if you want, of course) if you put the color number of each brand in subtitles, I think it would help a lot. A guide and good work for those of us who are starting out thank you
I think you made the right decision to paint the roundels and rudder rather than use the decals; in my opinion the Roden decals are a bit thicker than ideal. Of course, I do not have your skill with either the airbrush or applying masking tape so I can't say I would dare try the same thing as what you achieved! The wing shading is amazing. What needle size do you use in your airbrush and what is your air pressure set at? Looking forward to more installments of this great build! Thanks!!!
Thanks Mark, I use 0.3 needle and 2 bar pressure. The next video will be about rigging and, because the rigging is very complicated on that plane, the video will be a bit later.
Another informative episode.....I really enjoy watching what you do but the commentary as well. I recently used the same technique on roundels and they turned out well.....yours are terrific. I have found that Roden and Special Hobby decals can be hit and miss....some work and others fall apart. BTW.....I noted that you sourced some diagrams for the internal structure....by any chance are they available online and, if so, do you mind sharing the website? Robert
Thank you so much. Yes, I agree that Roden decals it's a lottery, that's why I decided to paint roundels. About diagrams, I usually use Windsock data files as a reference, as well as pictures of real planes (very rare replicas).

Ok Rondals lay the round madk first to get the exact position then apply the boarder mask then remove the circle mask and fill in.
