got to speak with isildur1 after he busted ppc 50k, super nice kid, didnt even care about busting , was in upbeat mood, said he just loves to play. basically shows that what made him so fearless and good, he just doesnt care about the money at all, its just about playing.
Thank you for posting tournament play breakdown ❤more please
Would be nice if you added a postflop sim, see what a reasonable call range on the river looks like.
Bonus q: what are our river bluffraises?
Great hand and great breakdown as well. Thank you for this...
"for whatever reason if blom's dealt more than 1 card he's raising here" hahaha.
"You don't play the player, you play the person." 🤔
This is crazy call!
Nice! Reviewed some of Isildurs hand from this FT at my channel too
two pretty likely str draws lonis would have on flop (A2 and A5) didn't get there on the turn, those he's way more likely to have than the 75, 62, 52, etc.
good point, should have listed those combos!
@@mbradycf yeah from the ICM stuff (as you guys mention) his 76's, 75's, 65's, and worse (62, 52, which he might not have even in an ICM vacuum) are limited.
i'd also guess he's way more likely to fold those on turn some % of the time though (A2 esp), sans clubs.
@@mbradycf i do love these weekly WSOP hands though, good work both of you 2. it's been the high rollers lately which is nice too, upper crust players.
Can you do some plo versions. This series is awesome thanks
Will have to get Dylan Weisman to join Mike for those!
liked the analysis but as soon as you said the hand took about two minutes and the vid was 18.... i was fast forwarding.
2 minute hand, 18 minute commentary. Jesus.
hey give us some credit, we were done with the analysis in well under 16 minutes!
Not sure why you’re watching this channel if it’s not for in depth poker analysis.
Thanks guys. I always appreciate and learn something. I agree with all actions on all streets at the end of the day here.
@@joshmullins4849 Has it ever occurred to you that maybe this may be my first time watching this video or channel? By your statement, you think I can predict the future. If I could, then I would go back in time and not watch this video.
@@alba4life122192 whatever man. You’re the one that came to a channel that you’ve apparently never watched before to be critical. Do you and leave and let them be them. Some of us like it.
@@joshmullins4849 "Whatever man" lol. Basically, saying that you have no intelligent response. Love when low IQ NPC 's expose themselves.
Could Lonis consider raising or shoving pre?
With those stack sizes, If he shoves he is only getting called when he is crushed. And there are 2 shorter stacks at the table. Bad play. He can raise, but an agro like Blum isn't folding anything. Then they are playing a bloated pot, which risks his stack.
Shoving pre he shifts the ICM pressure onto Blom but at the cost of ramping up the variance when he can just take a flop in position. So both have merit. 3-betting would be terrible.
@@Foolish188 thats logical, usually bluff can get called only by better
@@77oregano77 do you mean an nai 3-bet would be terrible?
@@matthewriebel5792 Yes
8:30 what about middling pocket pairs that with which he's not likely to 3b preflop give the ICM pressure?
Terrible range analysis.
Gonna close the video and put a 👎
What's the deal with the scarf? Can live players really get a read from your neck? I usually believe it's superstition, but when I see Isildur1 doing it, I wonder....
Veins in the neck
Long visible neck her aswell, so can relate. Pulsation can be visible for some of us long neck and veiny guys.
It's the veins. But it is also usually pretty cold in casinos.
This is how trendy people are. Breathing stripes have been out for decades and then it goes viral for the dumbest reason.. you all look ridiculous wearing them
suggestion, say less, much less.
This is a breakdown video.
You can work on your attention span, or go back to watching shorts and tiktok. But if you learn to focus on longer videos, that will help you with poker aswell.
If you got to the end of this response. Well done, keep at it champ!
This is a very good show of how poker pros think.
Opposite of this
