I just wanna say this one thing... "LFG!!!" Oh & one more thing... I REALLY enjoy listening to others talk poker. It helps me to expand my own thinking and train myself to think differently in certain spots. Thanks a ton guys! (Wish it were a hand/day)

Really enjoyed the breakdown of this video. Regarding the last hand in Fan’s spot, I’m betting the flop almost every time with my Ace in this scenario. I have just over 20bigs left which is decent I agree regarding ICM here but it’s too important to let this pot go. I’m not quite sure if I’d bet smaller considering it’s final table, icm, yada yada but I feel I’m going for a bigger bet here, over half pot, to show I’m willing to get it all-in. I have the Ace, you don’t. They call, they call. And 3-handed in this scenario I do believe I have the best hand anyway so I may get it in here facing a 3-bet or at that point you can fold. Only lost minimum chips vs. the most likely scenario is I bet over half pot, I’m the initial raiser, they fold, take it down, move on.

I agree I would have done the same..let them know I'm betting and committed if u dare call my bet...if it was a full table that'll be a different story but when it's down to 2-5 players left your ace is very strong no matter what but who knows it's easy to say I guess when your watching rather than the player in that hot seat!!

Lovely breakdown nice to hear 2 opinions at the same time. I hope you will bring a couple more final table hands during the WSOP and after.

Fan was famous for his 6 bet jam with A5o on the APT Main Final table as the second chip leader against the first chip leader. He has a lot of heart

Great analysis and both of you have a great rapport with each other. Did want to point out one thing in regards to hand #2. While I am not 100% sure Spasov would play like this, he seemed like he was a seasoned poker pro and has likely been in icm situations a lot. If this is the case, Spasov doesn't have KQ or KJ based on the stack sizes. He has roughly 3x on Fan and Dube. Based on how Fan had been playing, I would think he is going to raise too wide and call too tight and Spasov is going to pounce on this and shove all pairs, KQ, KJ, maybe KJo, and a few other hands so he really doesn't have much on the turn aside from J10s and maybe A5s (probably shoving pre). Weirdly, I'd feel decent on the turn from Fan's pov but the river is brutal for him. All that said, I love cbetting the flop here as I think it was Mike who said that and keeping it simple. Cheers, looking forward to more of these!

Really good point about Spasov's preflop range. I could even see him shoving the JTs. Thanks for weighing in, Adam!

@@mbradycf Yeah! I'm curious what his value range looks like on the river when you take out all those hands!

I think AKss or AKcc is a pretty cool bluff in the first hand, where you block Bb best possible hands of A3s and K3s, besides quads. KQ is similar but not sure if Q is relevant if Bb isn’t defending Q3s

    Late comment, hand 1.
Aaron talks about, QQ, KK, AA for Spasov but they are forgoten by the river.
I would say thoose hand go firmly into bluffchatcher mode when bet into on the turn. The river blocker bet from Fan (after donking the 3 turn) is dubble edged as it get´s value from worse Jacks and maybe AT but equally important, in my eyes, it freezes Spasov from makeing any raise for value with the over pairs. If Fan checks the river he might be facing a 1,5-3 M bet when Spasov realizes his overpair is good.
The river raise is saying "my value beats any 3x".

In the 24 hand with Dube, I was just wondering if the board being so draw heavy makes it more likely for opponents who unblock a majority of the draws and cover you (Which I think is both players in this case) are more likely to bluff catch jams from the big blind here? There is also the obvious benefit of knocking out a player at this stage.

second hand: btn A6s vs sb 98s.. how come that you did not mention a jam possibility with this hand with 98s?

Your pro is wrong - it’s not just about folding out better but it’s about unblocking players raise folds
