What that amazing and humble fellow sort of brushes over is the fact that at the age of 11 he had learned pretty much their entire catalog of music (at the time), showed up to a gig, and played every tune Mark called PERFECTLY, note for bloody note. Obviously, everyone at that show, both in the band and the audience were having to pick their lowers jaws up from the floor, after that.
Pete’s an amazing musician for sure and a super-cool guy too. Thanks for watching! (:
@@windsordrums My pleasure. Thank you for highlighting someone I consider something of a hero.

@@windsordrums I will now!😁 Cheers, geez!
He's too immature.
He used to be a bit 'too busy' at the early stuff ..... but he's fantastic now - a great band addition indeed. Well done mate!
I used to watch Pete play with Frank White back when we were kids, one of the best drummers I've ever seen. Great to see him get the Level 42 gig, a long way from the Pheasant Pete.
Not for me. Not one bit.
Met him after a level 42 gig at the de la warr pavilion .what an extremely nice guy and a great drummer.😎check out lolas day off!!
Pete’s a top guy and drummer indeed and thanks for the tip! (:
An amazing drummer. I saw him at the York concert last week. Absolutely amazing.😎😎😎😎😎😎
🇧🇷 Brazilian fan here ...What a great addition to the band Pete is...! The concert at Rockpalast 2022, is incredible...! The drumming is so tight and the quality of the sound of drums and keyboard 🎹 on Love Games, and the bip bip bip bip from Mike, in particular for me is superb, Starchild too is just an absolute joy to.listrn too...!
Yes indeed! Did you check out the full podcast episode? (:
Nice chops this guy has. Very funky and fat kick bass. Good job Pete. The video of you as a kid jamming with L 42 was awesome. Your dream came true!
I'd got used to seeing Level 42 with Pete's predecessor(s) and was blown away the first time I saw them after Pete joined. He added real power to the sound and really brought the songs to life. It felt like his involvement had made the whole band step up a gear. Great drummer.
Indeed!

His side project is pretty hot too....PB UNDERGROUND 🔥🔥🔥😊
Pete, you're awesome. Just deal with it 😱
You’re a brilliant drummer. Thank you
Thank you for noticing
Never heard of him but he's definitely on point with his drumming. Perfect fit to Mark's percussive bass playing.
Big Ups and Mad Respect, for filling those shoes...
Luv this guy and what he brings to the band.
Me too! 😉
Wish it was me lucky so and so
They say luck is preparedness meeting opportunity!
proper animal on the skins! quality
There is some slang in there. What is a “depth” drummer? Or did he say temp?
A ‘dep’ meaning deputy drummer is when one drummer can’t do a performance e.g. because of unavailability and so a ‘dep’ drummer is brought in, like in teaching, etc. (:
Wow, what a nice story Pete told us and he’s so lucky to have joined the best band in the world!! 😀👍
Pete’s a great musician and a great guy! Thanks for acknowledging!! 🙌🏽
@@windsordrums No problem, I’d love to see the band live sometime!! ✌️☺️
Peter Ray Biggin is a brilliant player and his drumming style fits in perfectly with their sound.
I've heard that he was hugely influenced by (original Level 42 drummer) Phil Gould's playing and I can certainly detect a similarity in his approach. He's a great addition to the band.
Pete’s a great player and indeed influenced by Phil Gould. You can check out more of his take on that via the podcast I did with him. 👇🏽
