    Damn, most people struggle hit targets at less than 1000 yards and here's a disabled vet shooting out to 2500 with his feet, incredible.

    If anyone is apprehensive about attending any of Rex’s classes don’t be, the instructors and students that follow the discipline he is teaching are cohorts and friends of the art. There are so many variables to deal with that are made to be very digestible. Rex’s knowledge is taught in such a straight forward manner that it makes it easy for the students to assist each other in the learning of the information from a different prospective. If anyone is on the fence about attending, lean towards Rex, you’ll not only learn what you are seeking but make some friendships that’ll last!

    So the "disarmed" guy trains how to provide me with freedom by being capable of overwatch. Meanwhile, my excuse for not going for my run today was I got 3 mosquito bites from it a few days ago and I didn't make it to the store to get any repellent. I feel like a total vaj.

    Hey. George Banke? I always wondered if the Banke in long range shooting was the one we used to battle when I was at Power Source Racing. Am I to think the Macmillan's in long range shooting are Nemesis kart guys back in the day? Up in montana now. I have a 50bmg but I'm set up for the fun stuff.
    20mm electronic ignition necked to 50bmg bore riders. What I would try if I wasn't doing 20 other things in life with my time and my money.
    Thanks again Rex
    Love learning from Eduardo.
    No your not chopped liver.
    Rex what's max effective range of new lake city a.p.i. off the belt?
    I know the tracer has a tiny coefficient difference from doppler.
    I'm shooting a stock M99 fluted barrel tank brake.
    I have the barret 15/40 selectable moa zero gap rings with a 27 moa rail.
    Shooting the straight 10x super sniper.
    Till I can afford the Schmidt and Bender 🤞
    How did the muzzle loader guy do a few years ago? King of 2 mile?

    Hey Rex! Awesome video as always! Have you ever considered checking out / doing a review of the Ase Utra line of Suppressors? They have become very popular in Europe. Specially the SL5i Model. They are also quite unique as they are fullsteel but still very light, and very short length but still good dampening.
    Cheers! Freddy.

    New to long distance shooting, would you go 6.5 or 300 win mag? I want to hit steel and possibly some large game. I have a 308 but I want to reach out and shoot farther.

      30-06 is between 300WM and 308 and the barrels last way longer than 6.5 and 300WM. You can also load 30-06 hot and push it into 300WM territory.

    Rexxxxxxx lol... what powder and grain weight did you use for your 7mm rem mag. 168 grain Alco bullets. I have them for my 7mm. 160 sierras shot great but I wanna give the alcos a shot and see what they can do. Any advice should be appreciated man! Thanks for the videos!

    • @TiborasaurusRex
      @TiborasaurusRex  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I use 195 grain Berger Elite Hunters :-) Running RL-33. I am hesitant to give load details as this is a pretty hot cartridge and equipment-component relationships vary enough to take you from safe to dangerous in just a couple grains.

    • @mitchellnebrosky2765
      @mitchellnebrosky2765 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      TiborasaurusRex okay yeah, I understand that. Would reloader 19 or imr4831 be a good choice of powder for a 168 grain or give the 33 a go??

    • @shannonnunn
      @shannonnunn 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Mitchell Nebrosky 33 burn too slow for that bullet weight.... H1000 should be fine

    • @mitchellnebrosky2765
      @mitchellnebrosky2765 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Shannon Nunn okayyy thank you! I'm new into this. Just trying to get some feedback to see what to do. My 160s were shooting half inch to 1inch groups at 100 yards with my 7mm so I was happy.

    • @shannonnunn
      @shannonnunn 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Mitchell Nebrosky get a reloading manual for Bergers and it will give you some good info... H1000 is the most stable powder in different temps for that bullet weight in a 7mm Remington.... 180s would be the best bullet for long range if you have the twist for it.

  • @stgraves260

    • @aaronmiesse7754
      @aaronmiesse7754 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @BILL G I don't believe so. Thunder has steel every hundred to 1000 then a gap to 1760. That gap is a bit frustrating because there are locations for say 12 & 1500. The 1760 is 3 targets, 1 for 50 cal and 2 for below. The 1000 has a good number of targets probably because Tom shot 1000 in match. So I'm not exactly sure if you can go further, I have heard people ask to add under 1760 and not been granted. And seen a few disappointed when they arrived there was only one past 1000. Best is to call Tom Sarver or FB message gets quickest response and see what he says. Its still a nice place with a good FFP and sight in area. I wouldn't call it a challenging place for open range day (Straight forward) but its a decent place to mix it up and Tom has competitions regularly during season. Enjoy! Thanks,

      Interesting observation, consider the character of the tribe Dan in Israel. They were incredibly pushy and had incredibly high demands for their brothers, so much that they scared many away from the fold.
