Appreciate lists like this, especially when the PS4 library is so affordable. Also, loved collecting the Playboys in Mafia 3. Almost matches our IRL collection.
As someone who has recently played through the entire Horizon Chase Turbo game, I can second this. This was one on the greatest racing games I’ve ever played. If anyone likes this game like I do, I also recommend Hotshot Racing on the PS4. Great video man. Looking forward to part 2.
Hot shot is also great. I love all the different modes, like the police chase and the barrel mode where they just keep adding explosive barrels to the track.
Thanks man. If I had to be 100% unbiased I would probably put PS4 at #1 considering all of the things the console does. But I'm nostalgia stubborn and PS2 will always be #1...lol
It's incredible for sure. I like when the commander tries to assign you a new Mech and BT says that "together our combat efficiency it at 92%." In his robot way he's pleading to keep you both together because he doesn't want to be alone again. It's a super cool moment.
I'm also not a fps fan, so maybe I should give titanfall 2 a try. I also have Lara Croft... It looks cool, but I haven't tried it yet. Looks amazing, so I had to import it. Man, that racing game looks amazing. Gotta get that. What ELSE would you read a vintage playboy for? Obviously the articles. Too much foliage to see anything anyway. Nier Automata is incredible but I just started it recently. Have you played Nier Replicant? Amazing, gorgeous game with superb music. Great list and honestly one of my favorite videos you've done! Keep it up, brosquitto.
i liked 3 of the games you mention , lara croft temple.... horizon chase turbo, and Nier.. my favorite games on the ps4 is "battle chasers nightwar" tom clancys divisions 1 and 2 of course monster hunter but the most least expected from every nerd to a nerd is that you have to try dragonball z kakarot at first i thought it would be like a rpg on the first 2 seasons of dragonball z im like .... wow so boring.... replaying a story we already watched but than it was more than what i expected... it actually has all the dragon ball z sages in that one game.... like wth.. how..... lol not sure how they fitted all of that in their. you can grind to level up before facing your opponents . if you get bored you can hunt for your food learn how to cook, get experience points ..fly a nimbus cloud .. im like wow its like final fantasy but with a dragonball skin or dlc its not bad .. try it if you haven't. great video btw im going to check out your other stuff...
Maybe it was a throw away comment, "Is the Game Boy worth collecting in 2023?" (1:07), but I think the Game Boy is one of those systems which is relevant for multiple generations and is actually pretty cheap. Though it's increasingly more difficult to find GBx games in the wild at thrift stores and garage sales, they are still prevalent when compared to those concurrent systems (NES and Sega Genesis through to the GameCube). A bonus is the games are small, so people don't think they are worth as much as their big brother counterparts. GBW, GBC, and GBA cover almost 20 years of gaming history (last game in 2008), so there are many avenues a gamer can go down when looking for some retro fun. There are also still some surprising bargains for games that are doing something more on the hardware like 007 Nightfire on GBA. I'm surprised that isn't $50. Anyways, if you're a kid of the late 70s through 90s, the Game Boy library rocks. Don't get hung up on the $100 games. There aren't too many of them that are super great. Also, maybe $50 isn't $50 any more what with all the inflation that's going on. I remember $20-$25 being a high-priced game in the FuncoLand days. Later $100 was the high mark for games like Bubble Bobble 2. What is worthwhile changes with the times. I still don't like spending more than $20. Heck, you spent what on trade in high-mark titles over the last year (Contra Hard Corps, Ninja Warriors, etc.)?! In conclusion, hah hah, I think it was a poor example (no hard feelings :). The Game Gear is also a pretty easy collectible system, though getting good hardware is going to cost you.
I love the Gameboy. But I wouldn't be able to collect for it in todays environment. Retro gaming is far to expensive. I was trying to illustrate the point that people make dumb videos on TH-cam and have no idea what they are talking about lol....but listen to my video lol
@@CMRetroGaming Respectfully, I disagree. Unless we're contrasting sealed PS4 games vs sealed Game Boy (DMG-Color-GBA) games, gaming on GBX is still affordable. I *challenge* you to come up with a list of strong titles under $20. While you won't away from a dedicated game store with Darkwing Duck for $15, you might win it in an auction lot for that amount or less. Also, we should be down on ourselves for loving the hobby and making vids. It draws attention to it and keeps it alive.
What are some of your "must have" PS4 games? Leave a comment below.
This is so hard to believe, the PS4 is literally so good.
PS4 is soooo good. And there are games for everyone.
Because you started with Titanfall 2 my fav campaign ever i added all these games to my games to play doc
Thanks. Titanfall 2 is an incredible game. I don't know if people just forgot about it, but it should be in every PS4 collection.

For sure the PS4 is an awesome console with a huge library of games. Really there are tons of games for everyone.

The PS4 really is the GOAT. Glad to see this vid doing well, CM! You da man!

Titanfall 2 is great!
I've also beaten that Lara Croft game. It's a fun co-op experience.
For sure Titan fall 2 is great. The weapons in that game are also awesome.
Tiranfall 2 is absolutely my favorite platformer of this gen. I most recently replayed it on pc at like 165 fps lol. Amazing game bro.

My go to ps4 games are Isaac and Blood Borne of course.
Great video man!
I remember you streaming Isacc back in the day lol.

Thanks man. I have not played Nier Replicant, but I will get it lol
I replay mafia 3 every summer with my cousin 😂 Ik people don’t like it cuz they compare it to the others but I’ve never played the previous ones.
I didn't play the other Mafia games either. I found my copy at a pawn shop for like $8. It was so much fun even despite it's flaws.
Steamworld Dig 2
Alien Isolation
Dark Souls or Bloodborne
Hollow Knight
Hades
Death's Door
Great recommendations. I would like to get Hades in the near future.
Great video!
Thank you for the upload.
Thank you for checking out the video.

A great video for the players.😎👍

Great list up until Mafia 3. Mafia 3 is an embarrassment compared to 1 and 2
I never played the first 2, but I almost got the PS4 version of the first game to stream.
@CMRetro Gaming 1 and 2 are amazing. My apologies if my comment sounded rude. That was not my intention.
@@ESPINOZA316 It's all good I love it when people are passionate about games.
We got all the playboys in Mafia 3 FOR SCIENCE!
Hi Chris Miller I Hope That Tomb Raider Game Gets A Physical Remaster For Ps4 And Ps5 In United States Sometime In The Future
Crazy how cheap games can get.
Fore sure. Games like Titanfall 2 is not rare and there are millions of copies, but no one cares about the game right now. So it is dirt cheap.
Bless you bro. I get very good vibe from your video.
Thanks. I'm just a passionate gamer.
