    What kind of a steamer do you use do you have a video on that? Vx5000? What exactly do you always put in the pre wash for apc or degreaser

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi byes it’s the Vx5000. Here is a video we did a while ago on it th-cam.com/video/0gpUaTRiwvQ/w-d-xo.html

      @@MirandaDetailing okay what do you always put in the pump sprayer for pre wash? Is it different for coated vs non coated cars what you use

    • @MirandaDetailing
      @MirandaDetailing  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      So for coated vehicles we usually don't need a prewash or apc rinse, we just rinse, foam , and wash.

      If you’re pricing your services correctly you want have to worry about the products you use…in most cases. When starting out using Meguiars and 3D products for the cleaning and polishing aspects will be more cost effective.

    I do this as just my hobbie but I gave myself a upgrade few weeks ago. I setup the nice shelf pressure washer with an Active VE52 and the hose reel so it makes using my presure washer super quick and easy. I also just decided to pickup the SPTA v2 cordless polisher. I have the V1 but that digtal button to select speed drove me nuts after a while. Also the V2 is so much quieter and less vibration then the v1. I opened it up anyway and removed the junk grease and replaced it with some good white lithium grease.

    Hey guys with the IK foamer I find mine fouls the white little filters every few times I use it and I fill it with air but it runs out quickly and have to pump it with that cheap plastic pump handle which breaks little small black plastic particles and fowls the filter and have to change them out to get it to spray a good stream of foam. Do you guys get this happen?

    Hey Phil…highly informative video. I’ve been vacillating about buying the IK Foamer. I’m a detail hobbyist, but like top quality products and tools…when washing , instead of a dedicated prewash, I put 100ml of GsF and 100ml of Green Star in my MTM foam cannon. In your opinion, is this effective?

    • @AuthentikADG
      @AuthentikADG 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    As far as cloth interiors... I have found that ONR works wonders on carpets in conjunction with a steamer and extractor. I like P&S Terminator and ONR for cloth seats... steam and extract. I also have a small "cube" portable heater that I will put into the cabin to help drying times.

    • @stephen1503
      @stephen1503 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      If it’s not freezing outside, cold air will actually dry the fabric faster (carpet cleaning trick!) because it’ll force the humidity out of the fibers and into the air as long as it’s warmer outside. So crack a window and blast the ac! Or air mover

    I am a next level enthusiast. Seriously! I own a 3” and 5” Rupes polishers. I have a steamer and a Tornado tool and compressor. I have a small portable carpet extractor. All the mircofibre you could imagine. But the one piece I would really love to own is a Rupes iBrid polisher, but I just cannot justify the cost. I could have a lot of enjoyment with it, but imo, outrageously priced. Great video.
