The forest temple was always a bit spooky, not like the shadow temple, but like its truly abandoned, and this version really reminds you its in a literal forest. ❤
Agreed... Tbf the temple is haunted by 3 ghosts, several flying skulls and gannons shadow... Plus several other things im probably not thinking about in the moment...
This one was the best forest temple of them all, imo. The other zelda games made it feel more jungle-like than deep forest, and OOT really felt untouched (as it should be, it was located in the Sacred Forest Meadow)
@@Bigboss192x The forest dwellers didn't build it. They just found it. Imagine if society collapsed and the White House was found by rat people or whatever who had no idea what it was originally for and used it as a church, and you have an idea what's going on in the Forest Temple.

These are all honestly some of the best Zelda fan work I've ever experienced... And that's saying something. This one and the Deku Tree are very special to me ❤️
Wow. Utterly transporting, haunting, ethereal, mysterious, yet alluring. This is now my favorite version of my favorite piece on the OoT soundtrack. Outstanding work.
for me this song means a lot. Aside from transporting me to my childhood like everyone else, it's a reminder that they don't make music like this anymore, or such is my perception
Imagine walking through a forest and you start hearing the music the further you walk- that would make me shite my pants and make me want to explore even more.
This is a masterpiece. This is my favorite zelda song of all time and this just completes me! I hope eventually you get the recognition you deserve! Now excuse me while I play this on repeat
I am going to be honest here, I am literally working on a mock proposal for one of my classes right now, and this song has been extremely helpful to me in relaxing my mind and getting the paper done. The Forest Temple theme has always been a very beautiful song, but you just made it even more beautiful, so thank you so much for uploading this video! :)
I shut my eyes, and imagined I was sitting in the Forest Temple with my eyes shut of course and I kid you not, I was getting so into it I legit thought I was there for a little bit, that is how good you are at making these Immersive versions of these already amazing songs. Hearing Link enter the abandoned temple which in turn makes the music ramp up, and then hearing those wood chimes and the poes laughing at you, it's just all so blended perfectly. You my man, are getting totally subscribed. :)
Love this version, especially the chirping of the birds... The art as well. Wish i could sit in a realm of peace and tranquility, surrounded by lovely greenery, alike.
Thank you for creating this... You seem to just get it. I think you have some real talent. Watching your other stuff right now. I also think it's amazing how people still are so fascinated with this game
This is my favorite soundtrack from the game and you made it to touch my heart even more wtf. If someone makes a movie from OOT this should be used. This is insane i might do a 1 Hour version of this wtf. Thank you.
This version of the forest temple sounds like it would be an enchanted forest theme. (Yet again the lost woods is basically an enchanted forest.) But it sounds relaxing & mysterious, i love it.
I’ve been compiling my favorite forest theme game music and didn’t have the intention of adding the OoT Forest temple theme again… but here I am blown away by this beautiful piece.
I am beyond impressed how you managed to capture the ethereal ambience, feel, and soul of the original. If the OG piece of Ocarina of Time was a door, you've shown us there is another one behind it. Well done!
For anyone that follows fawful's minion, I remember the forest temple made it into one of his top tens (I don't remember which one specifically). He said that the title of the dungeon wasn't entirely accurate. With the fact that it's set in the lost woods, a place that is known by the kokiri for being the stomping grounds of stalfos and spirits who couldn't find their way out. Where at the end there is a sacred meadow with an abandoned house of worship. In his video, he said he felt it was more accurate to call it the "Haunted Temple." And honestly, I can't think of a better title given all the mysterious things that happen there.
I love that this one focuses more on the haunting synth sound that i favor about this song makes it just sound so relaxing and opens up the imagination..just take out the doo doo doo dooo part 4/5❤
I feel like someone should redesign the forest temple from the ground up using the similar concepts and expand on it and give it a life and world of its own. This place used to take me away as a kid. is it wrong that I would embrace becoming a stalfos if it meant aimlessly wondering those mysterious lost gardens for an eternity? just some peace and quiet, the occasional sounds of rain tapping the forest canopy overhead. The cool babble of the living wildlife all around me. I'd find a tree by a babbling brook and ease into the pile of bones I had become and rest there away from worldly troubles until calamity Ganon ruined my nap or something.
I absolutely love these arrangements. At the risk of sounding cheesy, it doesn't make sense to me that these videos don't have more views and likes.

What makes this temple unique is that it's not really a religious site. It's an old castle/mansion haunted by ghosts.
Its of religious/ spiritual importance to the forest dwellers as noted by Saria
