Question bout shock length - Some manufacturers are going with shorter shocks with shorter shock towers, according to tech press releases that is to lower CG, ? some manufacturers like Kyosho offer a Long travel Shock model 3mm to 4mm longer shocks? If the bottom of the chassis are constantly being bashed in by the big jumps, does that upset the cars on hard landings? is the solution a Longer shock with more travel? or is there something that could be done to make a better "Shorter travel" rear shock? are there limits that are imposed by the rules on shock design in terms of body length diameter, shock shaft length and diameter>>>? I am looking to buy a buggy, debating between a Kyosho and Team Associated...always wanted to own a Team Associated buggy, but I am on the fence????
Hi there! Thanks for commenting on the video and for watching. There’s definitely a lot of things that Ultimately come into play when it comes to shocks. The general Theory about the shocks is yes, longer bodies helps with landing because of the larger amount Oil volume. As it’s important to keep the CG low it’s always a balance making sure that the 6 pound Car handles properly first. in my opinion there’s definitely more things to worry about than CG of a nitro vehicle.
What esc are you running and motor on your rc84e?thanks

Hello, I would like to know what effect it has to move the shorty batteries backwards or advance them.
I see the nitro has the rear weight but ebuggy does not. Not needed because those shorties are set to very rear?
