Jim, do you prefer students interlock or overlap the grip? You interlock--and I've been overlapping with success using your set up. Love watching the draw into target--fun. I'm thinking the set up is the thing and not so much the grip--reason you don't talk about it. Nod if I'm right. ;>) Enjoying your "mindset" re: the swing.
That's encouraging. I've had a pretty bad hook all year, and have thought it was in the strength of my grip. I change my grip and can hit it "relatively" straight, but it's very unnatural feeling.

So, it appears that you pick the club up quickly, hinge the wrist, with no rotation of the upper body? Is there no shoulder turn?
So, you're saying there's a chance...
