That Forge was Awesome you can Always Put the Blueprints on a Key card, and Modify the Shield Generator, and Put Turbo Laser Towers on the top, or another weapon that Cripples Ships.
Impressive! Deserves more views! The only thing that I find slightly off-putting is the amount of scene cuts you have, makes it a little uncomfortable to watch, having said that, this is still brilliant.
Hell yeah, it is! After playing it myself, I could see why it won Game Of The Year, back in '03. The part where we find out the player character is Revan totally caught me by surprise. Just like the first time I saw "The Empire Strikes Back", when Vader told Luke he was his father.
I agree, at this part I always think of the song that plays when the Rebels attack the Death Star (Battle of Endor I Medley) and Ackbar screams "It's a Trap!"
Proof that the Hamerheads were cost effective. There have been ships in history which proved to be superior, but they costed so much that it was hard to make them. Or simply the times of peace made the creations of powerful ships as obsolete. In retrospect, Hammerheads are bigger than regular small fighters, but smaller than large cruisers (so medium size ship, which usually has the best cost/efficienty ratio, as small ships need to be many, while a large ship is too much to maintain).
For me, the battle of Telos is pretty short, yet in length, it may seem as long as the Star Forge battle, but it depends from what point you consider each battle starts.
A few years ago, I used a custom soundtrack mod when playing this game. It was really cool, to have the music from the attack on Jabba's sail barge playing while I was on the Star Forge, cutting up Sith soldiers and Dark Jedi and frying them with Force Lightning!
the starforge a mega battlefortress to destroy it not using small ships lol,the only way to destroy it by using any superweapon that strong enought to destroy any ship,if true axial laser can bring that thing down
The Republic had quite the military. It is to bad that years later a Sith named Palpatine would come along and destroy it from within. Well at least the Alliance restored it. I have not played this game in years. I remember in my play-through's the Republic would always beat the Sith. Which is fine by me, I have never really liked the Sith anyway. They all have sticks up their butts.
Both sides are strong and are moments when the Republic is the victor, then the Sith strike back, after that the Republic strikes again and so on... Pretty much the principle "Take out the leader when it's been too long" XD
WHAT IF... THE STAR FORGE was never destroyed that day... it was made Darkside science the station itself could have used an illusion to make everyone think that it was destroyed for all we know it is still there
I play as a Sith, because I find the Sith more interesting and the Jedi are a sexless cult of child kidnapping space magicians who must be eradicated. And IMO the Sith ending is the better of the two, but the choices you can make in the game are so polarised it can takena lot of the fun out of roleplaying. You're either punching grandmas and stabbing orphans, or you're giving all your money to the needy and always helping the downtrodden. There's very little nuance in either playstyle.
The Sith have similar taboo elements when it comes to love, just like the Jedi. For example, Dustil Onasi liked a woman. Uthar noticed this and thought that the girl will be a weakness for Dustil, so Uthar had that lady killed. Now, sure, the Jedi would not have gone so far as killing someone, but it is the same fear both factions have: love. The Sith and Jedi have both their own ideals and their flaws. That is why I like people like Jolee and Kreia and Ahsoka. Those 3 know that a bit of both helps. Yeah, some choices are a bit strange, but that has never stopped me from having fun in the end. I like the Sith ending too, but I know what happens to the Star Forge in Kotor 2 if Revan is DS, which is a bit sad. They simply prove that whoever controls the Star Forge is doomed to fail on the long run (like with Malak, who gets it in the end either way).
@@KotorHDTVChannel If I recall correctly, nothing happens to Revan in KOTOR 2 in the dark side path. He simply abandons the galaxy to seek the True Sith just like in the light path(which were different from Bioware's. Avellone hinted at something more subtle, else Revan would have used the Forge to crush Vitiate)
Because I don't like serving the bad guys, I'm fine with being the bad guy in a game like civ, since you're not being told how to be bad, but not in a game like this as the missions tell you how to be bad

@KotorHDTVChannel So it corrupts its user with the Dark side to the point of insanity. Wow talk about side effects to using it. Sounds like better to leave it alone or indeed destroy it. Still would love a movie or serries around this superweapon.
@@bigduelssevens2309 Yeah, that is what ultimately was concluded with the Star Forge.
I could be wrong but I think the Giants spacecraft on the poster of Star Wars Episode 7 is the Star Forge not a Death Star like most people think.
You probably already know this but it's actually a bit of both!
Damn those graphics were good.
These were so awesome when they came out, blew me away when I realized they were using d20.
Lol, maybe. Thanks for the suggestion!
1:54 just damn.... Nothing can stand against that. Too bad the Star Forge can only be used for a limited time.
Imagine Thrawn having a starforge. :D
The Star Forge was my favorite level.
03:51 One thing I never understood in this game - How the hell are these supposed to be Capitol ships? They look nothing like ones. They are not even armed like actual Ships of the line.
This should be a movie
Amazing game
Hell yeah, it is! After playing it myself, I could see why it won Game Of The Year, back in '03. The part where we find out the player character is Revan totally caught me by surprise. Just like the first time I saw "The Empire Strikes Back", when Vader told Luke he was his father.
3:06! Epicness
I agree, at this part I always think of the song that plays when the Rebels attack the Death Star (Battle of Endor I Medley) and Ackbar screams "It's a Trap!"
Evan Schultheis Called -
"A new hope"
Perfect Stuff for creating a film! Come on, Disney!!!
Ther making old palps proud
And to think by the Battke of Ruusan 1000 bby they were still using hammerhead corvettes despite the design being over 3000 years old.
What happen to all those Leviathian ships? I mean, there was like 100 something of them. How many capital ships did Republic bring? 10?
Silly Bob Apparently 25 Cruisers.
It's unique. Good job
@TheMartialartsJedi Thanks!
@Orcaluv26 Yes
Thanks!
how are these cruisers named?
Leviathans.
Why "Bastila is no longer using her Battle Meditation..." if Revan hasn't been to the Star Forge to stop her?
@Orcaluv26 Yup. Old things that still survive
This was the last time when a great star wars game was made.
Meeh, it was a good sw game, but not great!
TFU, maybe?
balsay Empire at War, Galaxies Legends, Legos,
Great isn't to be confused with good.
Even though I love both KOTOR games, I love the first game best!
Don't get me wrong, I really like this battle. But at the end of the day I prefer the battle of telos.
The star forge is so sweg
Absofreakinlutely. That would be awesome.
haha, starforge vs starforge, a battle of who runs out of star power first
the starforge a mega battlefortress to destroy it not using small ships lol,the only way to destroy it by using any superweapon that strong enought to destroy any ship,if true axial laser can bring that thing down
6:00
THEY SHOULD RE MASTER KOTOR 1 AND 2
@FighterGuDude3214 Lol yeah

WHAT IF... THE STAR FORGE was never destroyed that day... it was made Darkside science the station itself could have used an illusion to make everyone think that it was destroyed for all we know it is still there
The star forge is mine!
Windows Movie Maker
@@KotorHDTVChannel
If I recall correctly, nothing happens to Revan in KOTOR 2 in the dark side path. He simply abandons the galaxy to seek the True Sith just like in the light path(which were different from Bioware's. Avellone hinted at something more subtle, else Revan would have used the Forge to crush Vitiate)
@@juanlaise1059 Yeah, the most you get out of Revan is in Kotor 1 where you actually play as him. In Kotor 2 he is a full box of mysteries lol.
Petition to put Fortunate Son over the Battle.
I will never understand why someone would chose the light side.
Because they are decent people. And normally I would say unlike you but I can't be bothered
Decent people=average spineless cowards afraid of true power.
Decent people= This video AKA: Beat evil. This battle is just a perfect example
andrei sandulache if they were then why did the Dark Side lose in this battle hm?
Because I don't like serving the bad guys, I'm fine with being the bad guy in a game like civ, since you're not being told how to be bad, but not in a game like this as the missions tell you how to be bad
Star forge and sovereign are the same thing
OMG! I can't find any videos of people making the Star Forge on Minecraft. Has people seriously never thought of the idea?
K
Change the title to: STAR WARS kotor 1 blah blah... and youll get a lot more views
Thanks!
