I tried the rice water and it worked great! I let it sit for about 12 days room temp and I used peels of one half of a pomelo which Whole Foods happened to have. It smelled citrusy-not terrible at all. One thing, the mixture was a bit slimy. I just left it in my hair for about 20 minutes and rinsed with plain water. I did not shampoo but I used my styling products to straighten my frizzy curly hair and it came out great. Thank you for sharing.

Yes this will work. I'm an Asian and I've been doing this. Generally your hair grows about half an inch every month. If you want it to be faster then rice water is an excellent method. Another one is to use castor oil and to follow hair inversion method. Most importantly keep a good diet!!!

I started using your fermented rice water recipe and it’s made a huge difference in my hair. I’ve been doing it every other week for the last month and a half and I’ve noticed my hair texture has improved so much. It’s been more manageable, shiny and soft. I also have seen a lot less hair in the shower on my wash days! Thanks for this video 😊

Like, within a month of use (thus about 2 applications) how much cm growth do you notice? I will try making today the recipe, use it in a week and then do it again in 3 weeks from now, so I will try to provide myself an update. Right now my longest hair are abt 36cm. Thank you so much for replying to everyone, keep up with the good work! ❤️

There is another way that we indians use rice water. We keep aside the water that we strain from cooked rice. This water is placed in a bowl covered with lid overnight. Next day morning the water may have turned into a pudding like consistency. Although it does have a pungent smell, it is worth trying. U can substitute shampoo with greem gram flour or chickpea flour.

I tried this and left the rice water mix for a little more than 2 weeks and it did not smell bad, only a fruity grapefruit smell. my hair became thinner because I developed an addiction with pulling it, I tried oils but that just made so much more hair fall out - during application and shower. this mix made less hair fallout during application and shower process. I must say that this has worked the best for me and I instantly saw thicker hair. if your thinking about trying it. do it!!
