Packers gotta add a pass rusher but the pool of mid tier reasonable pass rushers is very small this season Like obviously Id want Maxx Crosby but realistically, either Josh Allen or Keion White? Idk having a hard time finding a good midrange fit
Pass rush help to Cards. 4-4 or more likely 3-5 after it and this is the last chance to keep the season alive. Moving forward with this Dline/EDGE personel and our work in progress secondary is not going to work. The O still can wake up any week and can add 7-9 more points/game but it will be not enough without at least a decent like D.
Patriots fan here, or possibly soon to be former the way the org is behaving. They’re tanking for a higher pick (which is fine even if I disagree b/c they have a franchise QB) and also to be petty and blame Belichick for everything. Anyhow. Since they want to act like everyone on the team isn’t that talented even though Jabrill Peppers said the new staff wasn’t giving them answers like the old one did trade for their defensive players who can contribute to contenders. Uche is a pass rush role player (bad vs run). Deatrich Wise is solid vs run and a decent pass rusher. Bet you could acquire Jonathan Jones. If you want a box safety, see what Dugger could be had for.
I’m just really hoping the Bills are able to swing one more trade for a solid linebacker. We’ve had way too many injuries there to start the year. I’ve heard that we’ve had convos with Colts and Jags for Zaire Franklin and Devin Lloyd so I have some hope. But I’m really concerned about our linebacker injuries cuz that’s literally what the Ravens took advantage of in order to score so fast and so easily
The Falcons, much like you mentioned for the Bengals, are in desperate need of pressure *anywhere* on their D-Line. I could see them acquiring Landry as well, though Callahan's connections to Cincy might make them a more realistic target for him. I've said before that Atlanta has more cap room than we tend to think right now though, so they could honestly try for a more coveted premium hire at the position now that Judon has seemingly not worked out for them, at least not in a vacuum. I don't think that they'd have to immediately offload anyone for a rental option either (again, they have more cap space left this year than people give them credit for and still have an open roster spot afaik) the main issue is what they would do next year. We're getting to a point where decisions have to be made about who to bring back long term on offense. They paid some of their OT talent in the past few years and extended AJ this offseason but there's the looming contracts of both Kyle Pitts and inevitably Drake London, neither of which have really consistently put up the numbers to warrant extending them at a high cost (though Pitts is obviously a reasonably cheap contract because he plays TE). There's also Rondale Moore who never played a single snap for them due to injury. Do they want to extend him? Probably not. So we are freeing up *some* money for players that aren't even currently contributing for next year as well and altogether I genuinely wouldn't be surprised to see the owner who is *actually* "all-in" on this year, making a push to acquire an actual superstar like Brian Burns, Maxx Crosby, Myles Garrett or even (don't call me insane) DeMarcus Lawrence or Micah Parsons if the Cowboys' downward spiral continues this week. Atlanta is an immediate contender once they fix the single most ineffective overall pass rush in football right now. They have so many pieces that make them desperate to win right away, they can't afford to push this down the road and it's very apparent that they might not even win the division, despite the shambles it's in, if they don't do something NOW.
The opposite exercise would be fun where you guys looked at all the fire sale teams, found their best players, and thought about the best landing spot for them, if their teams do choose to trade them
Hop doesn’t have the juice he used to, but if you watch last season, he still CAN win over the top, like he’s not a non factor as a vertical threat at this point of his career, Levis was hitting bombs to Hop last season, if he even has that much juice left, I wouldn’t be surprised to see some of that in the Chiefs offense.
This is coming from a Seahawks fan: I personally think this may be the Kollman curse biting once again. Offers up Kupp as a potential trade candidate, then the Rams go out and look different offensively than they've looked all year. Why shouldn't they make a run for the West? They've already beat the 49ers (with a less complete team), McVay held up against a better version of the Mike Mac defense when it was also newer to him, and the Cardinals game is looking like the biggest outlier in their season so far (where they came off an OT game and was their first start without Puka Nacua). They now have as much of a shot at winning this division as we expected them to before the season.
If you watched Levis and Nuk last year I think it showed what D-Hop still is, a reliable receiver that can really help a QB, and especially one of Mahomes' caliber. Man I genuinely believe Nuk has 2-3 100 Yd games if hes healthy
8:37 brett.... hopkins will be in the hall of fame. solid longevity, he's been good for a while and at his best he was literally THE BEST wr in the game he'll be in canton no doubt
I don’t see Kupp getting moved. They’re one game back from the division and tied with two other teams. They also won out except for one game after starting 3-6 last year. As far as they’re concerned, playoffs are still on the table
Been racking my brain to come up with a realistic trade for the Eagles and I came up with one. Problem is, I don't know the other team in the trade well enough to know how realistic it is for them, so anyone who wants to comment, feel free! -Eagles Trade: Jahan Dotson and a 5th -Steelers Trade: Darnell Washington Both players are on rookie contracts, so this works for the cap on both teams. Dotson has talent, he just isn't being utilized by the Eagles (or the Commanders when they had him). Steelers seem to turn every receiver into gold, so I have faith they can do something great with him. Steelers might also like a guy who can work behind/with Pickens as a reliable #2. Plus, Wilson still loves his deep moon balls down the sideline and having Dotson could force opposing teams to respect that he can go down with Pickens and either force two high or a centerfield safety to really be on their game.. and it will open up the middle of the field for Calvin Austin to work with. Washington is a blocking tight end who is a red zone threat and, with Goedert sidelined, we need a TE. Stoll is a good blocker who isn't a threat to receive and Calcaterra is a nice receiving piece who really struggles to block. Having a TE (and eventual TE2) who doesn't tip the hand whether run or pass would help diversify the Eagles playbook to make 12-personnel more viable AND pick up the slack during Goedert's annual "i missed multiple games with an injury" dance we do every year. I dunno how Steelers fans/coaches feel about Washington, but they already got a stud TE1 that pretty much is everything they need. inb4 the army of Terrible Towels come alongside pitchforks to tell me what a bad trade this is..😅
As a Commanders fan, I want them to go BIG to maximize Jayden's rookie deal, Just as importantly our time with Kliff Kingsbury at the helm of the offense(which will probably be just this year unless he turns down all the offers he's gonna get this offseason) Most free agents only make it there because the team didn't think they were important enough to keep. You end up competing against other teams and overpaying. In trading, you lose draft capital, but you get a better quality player without the bidding war on the contract after. Jaycee Horn would be the perfect addition at CB for a 3rd or 2, I'd love to see if our 1st & 2nd would get Myles Garrett too. If we gave up days 1 & 2 of next year's draft to add Jaycee Horn and Myles Garrett right now I'd be thrilled, even as a draft guy. We have in the neighborhood of $120m in cap next season and all of our contracts are basically straight up, with no zoid years or funny money so we have even more room to move things and get creative to stretch that even further, so we'd have no problem extending him, taking care of and resigning our own guys, and even adding a few more pieces in FA, if any quality ones make it there.
I know the Patriots are really bad, but with the coaching staff and front apparently starting to feel the heat and because Drake Maye looks like he could be the guy, I think you'll see them make a buy at the deadline. Christian Watson and Dionte Johnson both work for different reasons at WR and in terms of defense we DESPERATELY need a linebacker for run defense, and I'm looking directly at JOK in Cleveland
And FTR - KC fans know what current DHop is about. He's Juju+ at this point. He does everything JuJu could do for us and more, better. He's not a top 5 guy or game breaker but he's a big body that catches everything and can get open (or not need to) when it matters.
Titans shorted Earnest like a sleazy stockbroker. They are indeed the slush fund of talent for the NFL right now. Also, Packer media wants the team to go after D-Line badly both to boost our own pass rush and to snipe a potential Lions target as they try to replace Hutchinson's production.
Me - "Heavenly Father should I follow a guy that does cap and contract stu"- KAPPPPEEEEEEWWWWWW (MASSIVE LIGHTNING BOLT STRIKES ME IN THE NUTS) "Roger that"
Atlanta is in some desperate need for pass rush. Matt Judon has been a good addition, but it quite literally the only one able to get after the qb. Time to add at least a little more
I can't see the Packers trading Watson, he really is the deep threat for the offense and while others fulfill that role he really opens things up for the rest of those guys ( I would also cry if we split this receiver room up sooner then we have to)
Jaycee Horn to the Seahawks. Complete the CB trio. Wouldn't mind Bitonio as well but I also don't want to give up all of our picks. If we can get Horn for a day three pick, I'd be ecstatic.
christian Watson not leaving, even when he doesn't catch he's our fastest receiver and best blocking wr, need him to stretch the field to open everything else up, doubt he goes anywhere
A 2 or 3 seems way too rich for Jaycee Horn for the simple reason that he's had difficulty staying healthy. I still remember when we got the one healthy season Ronald Darby had, and the team wisely let him go. (not so wise in his replacement.)
Wouldn’t say Watson is 4th on the pecking order really & no GB will not trade him. We would likely allow a trade for Stokes at CB though. I just don’t think GB is the team to really sell a guy this season either way. Next year maybe. GB is more in a buy mode
Forgive my lack of specifics but why wouldn’t the Patriots for example be looking to sell some of their defensive pieces for future picks to build around the new qb? Same question for the Broncos, why not jettison some of that defensive talent for a future pick to help evaluate Bo Nix? Neither team stands a chance to win its division, both teams have first year qb’s showing flashes of real potential, what are they waiting for chinese new year?
When I open a browser, I see articles from ESPN, Sporting News, etc, with headlines about trades that just happened. The articles are all fake. They're editorials about potential trades that could happen, in the mind of the author. It drives me nuts.
Carolina better get the 1st round pick from Horn. There is not one single corner in next year's draft. I doubt Washington would pull the trigger, given they are building for the long term.
Could the Lions make a trade to the Raiders for Maxx Crosby just for the remainder of the season and give him back to the Raiders once the season is over? The Lions give the Raiders a conditional 2nd and a 7th round pick which the 2nd round pick could be a 1st round pick if they go to and win the superbowl. Then the Lions trade back Crosby to the Raiders for the 7th round pick that they gave to the Raiders.
Only Bears fans would think a WR Greenbay is actively trying to extend would be traded but i diiiiid enjoy it as an amusing thought experiment Unless GB gets T Hill somehow
The biggest fireworks day of the year is Guy Fawkes night (in the UK), which is............Nov 5th. Maybe this doesn't translate to the US, since it celebrates the attempted blowing up of the houses of parliament (and yes, the Big Ben clock is a part of that).
Are you sure that was an actual 49ers fan that wanted to trade Bosa to the Lions and not some secret Lions fan? No way 49ers should trade Bosa unless this the return is a Hershel Walker level of compensation (which I assume the Lions are not stupid enough to do).
I havent watched it yet but as a packers fan if its not trading for an edge rusher Yahhh. I bet its trade watson because hes been injuired but has that boom which if thats the case nahhh.
I'd love for nothing more than Miami to fire Grier now and fire McDaniel at the end of the year, and go ahead now and trade almost all of your big name, big ticket guys that aren't foundational, to accumulate a shit ton of Draft capital. Then hire Ben Johnson and get to work building a real football team.
I don't see Ben being any different than McDaniel and I'm a Lions fan? Like McDaniel has shown he can create a great offense, no one is gonna look great playing there QB2 for extended periods. What is Ben Johnson going to suddenly change?
@@mattoleary811 Ben is vastly different as an OC, and as a possible HC, it's a good guess because he's been with Campbell for years and would've learned what it takes to create a winning team. Specifically, having that "edge," that toughness, that McDaniel utterly lacks. And as an OC, McDaniel doesn't understand sticking with the run and the necessity of the OL, Ben does.
@ThatFalloutGod I would guess that McD would stick with the run if the fins weren't doing so badly this year. When playing from out front it sure looked like the RB group was seeing plenty of usage last year but in contrast to this year the team is just not able to keep up in the passing game and if opp D's can scheme up plays against the run it's hard to commit to that when having to respect the passing attack is what drastically will lighten up boxes for the RB's. I think the predicament the fins are in more than anything is having a QB that can run the system McD and play a full season and having a team that is good enough in their fundamentals to weather a storm with team depth all around. I would say a similar narrative is spun up if Tyreek goes down and the Tua can't run the system without a speed WR. Thoughts?
The Packers won’t trade any player midseason to a team they might face in the playoffs. If they do trade a player, they’re sending them to the AFC unless an NFC team overpays. Brett just wants to weaken the Packers

He's also under contract for this year and next for very cheap with the potential to breakout further. We are competitive team, absolutely NO REASON to trade him.
@@matthewstevens5450 the only reason would be to get an actual player back at a more needy position but even then watson is the best deep threat on the team. Trading him even for like 2nd round which idt they would even offer that much wouldn't make sense when the team is in a title push
@@matthewstevens5450 Watson upside is the highest on that team. Reed has the floor play. Packers are in championship contenders makes no sense to trade a rookie deal wideout.
@@juliangallo9949agree. I see Reed as WR1 and Watson as WR2. Doubs is always that really reliable WR3 for those clutch first downs/security blanket throws under pressure for Love. But it’s Reed and Watson who absolutely flip the momentum of the game when they’re on. Wicks is still just flashing it but has the potential for sure in his own way.
Packers gotta add a pass rusher but the pool of mid tier reasonable pass rushers is very small this season
Like obviously Id want Maxx Crosby but realistically, either
Josh Allen or Keion White?
Idk having a hard time finding a good midrange fit
If Mara lost sleep on saquon, he might never blink again if he lost dex
Pass rush help to Cards. 4-4 or more likely 3-5 after it and this is the last chance to keep the season alive. Moving forward with this Dline/EDGE personel and our work in progress secondary is not going to work. The O still can wake up any week and can add 7-9 more points/game but it will be not enough without at least a decent like D.
22:46 Bucs should trade for Diontae Johnson
ravens here man good luck on your hunt🙏🏾
@AyeBratch 😭 this hurt real bad, y'all don't even need him
Patriots fan here, or possibly soon to be former the way the org is behaving. They’re tanking for a higher pick (which is fine even if I disagree b/c they have a franchise QB) and also to be petty and blame Belichick for everything. Anyhow. Since they want to act like everyone on the team isn’t that talented even though Jabrill Peppers said the new staff wasn’t giving them answers like the old one did
trade for their defensive players who can contribute to contenders.
Uche is a pass rush role player (bad vs run). Deatrich Wise is solid vs run and a decent pass rusher. Bet you could acquire Jonathan Jones. If you want a box safety, see what Dugger could be had for.
Poor DHop went from Will Levis to the league leader in interceptions. He really can’t catch a break can he
I’m just really hoping the Bills are able to swing one more trade for a solid linebacker.
After last night, the Rams are probably not selling anything. The division is well within their grasp enough to not justify a fire sale.
No more game pick previews?
This is coming from a Seahawks fan:
I personally think this may be the Kollman curse biting once again.
-Eagles Trade: Jahan Dotson and a 5th
-Steelers Trade: Darnell Washington
Both players are on rookie contracts, so this works for the cap on both teams.
I dunno how Steelers fans/coaches feel about Washington, but they already got a stud TE1 that pretty much is everything they need.
inb4 the army of Terrible Towels come alongside pitchforks to tell me what a bad trade this is..😅
As a Commanders fan, I want them to go BIG to maximize Jayden's rookie deal, Just as importantly our time with Kliff Kingsbury at the helm of the offense(which will probably be just this year unless he turns down all the offers he's gonna get this offseason)
Most free agents only make it there because the team didn't think they were important enough to keep.
ZERO chance watson gets moved. Why on earth would the packers do that?
And FTR - KC fans know what current DHop is about. He's Juju+ at this point. He does everything JuJu could do for us and more, better. He's not a top 5 guy or game breaker but he's a big body that catches everything and can get open (or not need to) when it matters.
Titans shorted Earnest like a sleazy stockbroker. They are indeed the slush fund of talent for the NFL right now. Also, Packer media wants the team to go after D-Line badly both to boost our own pass rush and to snipe a potential Lions target as they try to replace Hutchinson's production.
Me - "Heavenly Father should I follow a guy that does cap and contract stu"- KAPPPPEEEEEEWWWWWW
(MASSIVE LIGHTNING BOLT STRIKES ME IN THE NUTS)
"Roger that"
Atlanta is in some desperate need for pass rush.
Delusional
Absolutely not happening
christian Watson not leaving, even when he doesn't catch he's our fastest receiver and best blocking wr, need him to stretch the field to open everything else up, doubt he goes anywhere
Hold up, as a Lions fan that Nick Bosa idea sounds kinda fire...
A 2 or 3 seems way too rich for Jaycee Horn for the simple reason that he's had difficulty staying healthy. I still remember when we got the one healthy season Ronald Darby had, and the team wisely let him go. (not so wise in his replacement.)
Damn Watson to Tampa sounds really fun
0:00 RIP everyone born November 5th
Not one mention of Diontae Johnson is crazy
All I’m gonna say is everyone said the same thing about moss in 07 but I do agree
They definitely play the same position
Packers fans be like _dont you put that evil on me ricky bobby_
I think Azeez Ojulari to the Lions would make a lot of sense.
When I open a browser, I see articles from ESPN, Sporting News, etc, with headlines about trades that just happened. The articles are all fake. They're editorials about potential trades that could happen, in the mind of the author. It drives me nuts.
That pisses me off too I don't want to open Google and see a bunch of hypotheticals
Cardinals. Literally any pass rush or interior help. Anything. Please.
I think one of the Browns DBs to Washington could work. Or like any Jags players i.e. Scheriff, Kirk, Campbell, Hines-Allen, Walker lol
I don't see the panthers trading horn tbh. Love the show tho bois the shorter more focused content is great
Wondering if the Bucs would consider trying to get Wan’Dale Robinson with his connections to Coen…
Travis Etienne to Cowboys. Win-win-win for Jags, Cowboys, and ETN. Our video on it - th-cam.com/video/IDiscDYKOKU/w-d-xo.html
Aint taking shit less than a first for christian watson. Hes insanely important to what the packers want to do vs good teams.
Lmao
Njoku to Denver would feed families
Lmao this is so random and never gonna happen
As a Chiefs fan I'm not looking for Hopkins to be a number one. I want him to be reliable and help open up other parts of the offense
Who can the lions realistically get that’ll help their pass rush without Hutch?
Cowboys and running back. Plenty of day 2-3 picks to move for a rental
D Hop will be a reliable WR but not open up the playbook nearly as much as Chiefs fans will hope is what I think Bret was trying to say
What about Tyler Boyd for the Bucs?
Only Bears fans would think a WR Greenbay is actively trying to extend would be traded but i diiiiid enjoy it as an amusing thought experiment
Unless GB gets T Hill somehow
The biggest fireworks day of the year is Guy Fawkes night (in the UK), which is............Nov 5th. Maybe this doesn't translate to the US, since it celebrates the attempted blowing up of the houses of parliament (and yes, the Big Ben clock is a part of that).
David Njoku to the Broncos (or Evan Engram, I just need a tight end that is discernible from Jake Butt please)
I wonder how much it would cost for the Bears to acquire Jeffery Simmons…
i'm a lions fan and i also support trading for nick bosa. that niners fan on twitter should be gm.
Jeffrey Simmons to the Vikings?!?!?
No dline for lions targets? :((( they need it the most. Hutch, Davenport, and Barnes all gone
Are you sure that was an actual 49ers fan that wanted to trade Bosa to the Lions and not some secret Lions fan? No way 49ers should trade Bosa unless this the return is a Hershel Walker level of compensation (which I assume the Lions are not stupid enough to do).
Why do teams keep trading for old receivers it never works out never
Jonathan Jones to the Ravens imo
I havent watched it yet but as a packers fan if its not trading for an edge rusher Yahhh. I bet its trade watson because hes been injuired but has that boom which if thats the case nahhh.
Broncos need a TE. Desperately.
That's super interesting take. To play devils advocate, what happens if the fins can't pull Ben from Detroit?
@@evanbuske2624 I'm writing him a blank check and adding two digits.
Thoughts?
So the Packers, who are actively trying to contend, would trade one of their young starting receivers because…?
The Packers won’t trade any player midseason to a team they might face in the playoffs. If they do trade a player, they’re sending them to the AFC unless an NFC team overpays. Brett just wants to weaken the Packers
Mac jones will be a starter again
Landry to Packers cause of BC/Hafley connection??
Maxx Crosby to the falcons PLEASE
azeez ojulari to the cardinals
Someone needs to go get Greg Newsome out of CLE
Brett Kurseman
