I love the information but the extrapolation about "there will not be young people to support the old" is fallacious. This is the 20th century textbook model where we do not account for the next automation revolution. How is this possible that we are going to automate most of the jobs and yet we'll all have to work hard to support the elderly? This is a huge gap.
is the West listening? in this scenario there is little point saving money for retirement. money would be best invested in the developing countries hard assets and infrastructure. I think some continents are going to run up against natural carrying capacity barriers in the not so distant future and it's all going to be on our TV screens, but this will be necessary to wake more people up.
