That was a Moose as everyone is stating, and the wife and I call packs of them Meese's, just like a pack of Canadian Geese's . The elephant had a chain around his left ankle. That would indicate he has been chained up and probably abused. He also looked very old and tired. 💔💔❤️❤️
That elephant live better life than the rest with the speacial care. And he is chain only when he is out and he is so humble and intelligent. that's why a whole nation in sri lanka adores him.

That means that the elephant was beaten while being “trained”, elephants are often beaten and traumatized to perform silly tricks. Many of these elephants are being rescued and if the damage is undone they release them back to the wild
Actually… Raja used to be a logging elephant. When the logging ended, he retired, and greatly enjoyed swimming! He died back in 2016, as a very old boi. He was not abused. Many elephants have steel tethers, simply due to how big they are. Nylon or hemp just snaps, or gets eaten. Steel does not. Raja had a good life after logging

I love elephants. I love my dog but when he was a puppy and he shit in the house, he would get swatted. Now he doesn't do it anymore! To train any animal, there has to be reward and discipline. Otherwise it's just a wild animal. If you release a trained elephant into the wild, it wouldn't know how to survive. They also could be hunted for their ivory. Just for fun....even a wild child needs discipline!!!
Jaguars like to swim, and are known for leaving their kill up in trees to save it for later, so they are comfortable in trees, but I'm sure he'd rather his territory not be flooded.
I have seen this elephant so many times once i walked near by him and he is so huge 😊😊. Also he dont like vehicles so he is walking hundreds of miles with his bodyguards
