Just about Everything on this Diamond Select Cap is way better than the Hasblow one especially the tooling for the shields where you can add the part to place on his arm unlike that part on the Hasbro one which easily breaks but the face that you can attach it to his back much better than hasbros is one of the reasons I also got this Cap
Yup, great point! The engineering behind the shield is better. The outdated shield peg and clip on the Hasbro shield has been problematic. It is definitely a figure that is a few steps above for sure.🍻
Thank you!!! 🙏 It does. I just made a post on here so you can check out the fit. Strap is a different color than the belt on ML Ulitmate Cap and it looks a little too big but you can make it work. Repainting either the strap or the belt would be best. 🫡🍻👊🤙
The bigger the figure the easier it is to put in more detail work. I think the Hasbro is still a great figure because people hate collecting figures of chracters that are meant to be average sized. Hasbro allows you to pair it with multiple different action figure brands without the figure looking too small or TOOO BIG. Personally I think if you want to compare figures you have to compare them with size ranges.
I’m not sure about that. There are plenty of 6/5/4 inch lines past and present that work in plenty of detail and quality into their figures, top to bottom. A lot of Legends are just done poorly. Internally, the Joe line works in a lot of detail from top to bottom on some of their figures. And I don’t know about people not liking average sized characters. You might be right, but it’s the first time I’m hearing that. Agreed, the Legends line is easier to work in with other 6 inch & 1/12 figures. Considering the price point and that they are only 1 inch apart, I think the comparison is fine. Comparisons are ludicrous to me when people compare an $80 figure to a $20. 🫡🍻👊
@@theotherguy21 You do realize they have more annual releases than diamond select? Not saying the select cap is bad. Only time ppl get select to pair with other 6 inch brands is for taller characters typically mass monsters or villans
Yeah, that’s what I figured. I might be wrong but I remember them pulling out the Ultimate Cap Shell during the live stream? Which is why the ultimate cap figure stuck with me.
it’s still heinous to me that they never give cap body molds butterfly joints, he’s literally a shield throwing character.
@tenji, Man don’t get me started on Hasbro. So over their games. They didn’t even update the new falcon. 🍻👊🫡🤙

Great video!!
Does the Captain America's Shield from Marvel Select fit or goes well with the Marvel Legends Ultimate Cap? On the hand, and back

Hasbros lazy you can put just as much detail in 6 inch they're just to lazy to put effort into them but will raise the prices no problem

@N.O.A_YT they have more annual releases because it's the Same bodies from 10 years ago besides the new spider man body with a lazy ass paint job
💯, they’re lazy and do everything they can to get away with minimal improvement with almost every release. Crazy. 🫡🍻
Can you put the shoulder strap to the legends cap?
You can, it looks a little big. Just posted some pictures for you as a post. 🫡🤙
Its homage to the series 1 cap not the one you’re showing.
Yeah, that’s what I figured. I might be wrong but I remember them pulling out the Ultimate Cap Shell during the live stream? Which is why the ultimate cap figure stuck with me.
The overall critique about the 20th anniversary figure still apply 🫡🍻🤙
If only the diamond select cap scaled with 1/12 😔
So true, we’re going to have to pony up for the Mezco & Mafex versions. Or hopefully Hasbro really steps up their classic costume cap.
Select Cap makes for a better classic look. It has a comic aesthetic that the 20th Cap doesn't have. It also has more display options.
Exactly. Couldn’t have summed it up better myself 🫡👊🍻
