I love this Captain America figure. Probably the best interpretation of the character in figure form ever. However I do think if DST had included just a few more accessories, this would have been the perfect all inclusive cap figure. All we would have needed was 1) An alternate torso and shoulders with the more prominent scale mail. 2) an alternate head with an eagle adorned on his forehead for the Heroes Reborn look. 3) a bonus energy shield from the Heroes Return look in the late 90’s. Other than that it’s the perfect Jack Kirby/ Joe Simon cap or even a Mike Zeck or John Byrne cap
Great review! I am very excited about this figure! I dont mind the scale for this guy at all. Select has giving us other Avengers and Villains to go with him so its all good! I think hasbro should copy this whole formula for their next cap though!
With regards to the shield...... Hasbro, take note. The shield design and options alone is far better than the gimmicks we got with the 20th anniversary Cap, as good as that figure was, his shield (which would have been 10/10) let that release down due to the holes for the add-on effect gimmicks.
