I like your whole "this is how it went down on my Earth 616" vibe. It means never having to buy characters you don't enjoy, and that's my approach too.
Thank you! Yup, you're 100% right! You're collection should be a reflection of you and what you like. Every collection is custom and that's why we can have the same things but it's totally different! Thanks again!
Excellent video tour of an impressive collection. Kudos, sir. My figures are mostly arranged in that museum style but it is inspiring to see the dynamic posing you did. As a McFarlane collector I can most definitely attest to the wild range of scale for thier figures... my Hush Batman towers over the Hush Supes while with the Snyder JL line its pretty much reversed. Anyhow, looking forward to the next one!
Your collection is just a reflection of you so I guess you can never be wrong. It's what makes you happy. As for the DC's I was actually thinking about making a video on that. The only ones that have it easy are the newer collectors who are going straight to Multiverse. Starting over with the same figure over and over again gets kinda boring to me. Thank you for the feedback!
Walgreens Fantastic Four is definitely the DEFINITIVE Marvel Legends FF .. ESPECIALLY The Thing! Anyways great display brother.. keep up the great work 👑
Much appreciated! Especially when you add on the fact that we had to get those 1 by 1 at Walgreens on 4 different releases. The new waves come all at the same time and they weren't an exclusive. I'm not too big on the black either, I like the original colors better. Thanks again!
@@ClevasMultiverse AGREE 💯 about the O.G. Fantastic Four Marvel Legends uniforms... I originally had the Super Skrull wave Thing.. but I kept looking for a good deal on the Walgreens Thing on the aftermarket & I finally got one..I do like the retro Human Torch...but the Walgreens Mr Fantastic & Invisible Woman are must haves 👑
Super nice display! I know what you mean about the DC lines, the difference in scale stinks! I understand your feelings about Reverse Flash. Me.. I can see myself acting a lot like early Guy Gardener with super powers!
Yeah the scales are all over the place unless your just starting out. It sucks because I really like a lot of the older figures better than the newer ones.
The display is looking fresh! I prefer dynamic posing as well no straight up museum style posing for me and no stands either. I think pride and balancing that weight evenly lol👊🏽
Thanks! I can't do museum style, for that I would just buy statues. Most of my figures are free standing unless I have them hanging or flying. I take pride in that too, it's more challenging but we have the time to kill so why not right?
Great collection and nice video. Space is always the enemy, you can never have enough. I have a toy room as well and I enjoy just looking at my figs for hours it's like meditation or rearranging shelves and adding new figs to the displays. Thanks, I appreciate your support! What exactly did you want to learn more about? the webbing I made, how they stick to the walls? Or how I separate them? Thanks again!
@@ClevasMultiverse all of this is fantastic, but how do you stick them at the wall? For sure i use glasses, but i can’t see the attachments. Please forgive me my bad english.
@@dremelrocket9572 Exactly, plus I'm not the biggest fan of the quality of the plastic on the McFarlane Line. I'm deff gonna do ao video on that soon. Thanks for the sub too!
That's a good question. So I try to use everything that comes in the box. A lot of those older figures used to come with those clear, almost rubber band things to keep the figures in place. I keep everything, especially clear. Now they don't really come with those any more so I also keep any kind of black twisty's that come with like wires and stuff. Bigger figures and vehicles will have them. If you have a toddler running around then all of their toys will have those. Keep them and don't throw them away. I put them in a ziplock for later. Last choice you can use garbage ties or bread ties also. You can peel the paper off and just use the wire. For bigger figures you're going to need more than one. I think I have 5 on Venom because of the weight of the wings. As for getting them on the wall, I always use thumbtacks. You can get them almost any color to match the wall. You push them in and they will stay. Then whenever you have to move, or switch things up all its really gonna take is a paint job to get everything back together and you don't have to worry about holes. (Your Landlord will love you) For my Spider-Verse section I use the webs that he sometimes comes with as well as everything above. I also made that web in the corner from regular yarn and I have a few of them just clinging on to that. I hope I was able to help out!
Glad you like it! That my little slice of heaven right there. I go in there and no matter what's going on I always feel like... now it's not that bad and it's gonna get better lol! Thanks for the comment!
Nice collection, how much did you drop on all of this? ( if you dont mind me asking). Yeah the wolverine, iron man and spiderman are the most popular characters and biggest sellers of the marvel universe. I dont like iron man and really dont have too much interest in him ( I do like war machine though). I believe there was a gusiness world record out of either Venezuela or Brasil; there is one iron man fan who is the biggest iron man fan in the world and has thousands and thousands of iron man clothes, toys, figures, statues, artwork, mugs, cups, hats, they put it all in a museum I believe!
You know what's funny? I always liked War Machine better than Iron Man too. Even though he was the sidekick, I always felt that he had just the ONE suit and he had to make it happen with that one. Tony Stark be like oh we going to Mars?? I just to happened to have a Mars suit. I hate that. As far as the collection, I'm not really sure. After a while it all kinda just blurs together. I've been doing this 7/8 years now. I used to keep track but now I can't. I try my best to get them at retail but you have to buy backwards to get certain characters and that's where it gets pricey. There are times when I'll go to Comic-Con and spend like 700 on a bunch of figs I can't find then then there are months where I won't buy anything.
Thank you my brotha! So I try to use everything that comes in the box. A lot of those (older) clear seals that the figures come with I keep. If I run out of those I use the zip ties that come with garbage bags (You can take off the paper and keep the wire inside too) . Some electronics like plugs and cables come with them. KEEP THEM! Then you get some thumbtacks and you good to go. They kinda blend in with the wall too if you get the right color. Thumbtacks are also easy to fix or paint over. For the bigger figures you need more than one. So like for my flying venom, I have 4. One on each wing, his body and his neck.
The characters that I would say that are OVER PRODUCED would be , Iron Man, Wolverine and Spider-Man. With those three characters right there you have to constantly ask yourself what's the difference and if you really want it. I'm not the biggest Iron Man fan so that one is easy for me. Spider-Man seems to get me a lot and with Wolverine if the costume and story was big enough I'll get it, I had to grow up with it though.
So I would say Spider-Man first and then whoever is poppin at the moment. Right now it's Wolverine but Iron Man has that hall of armor. It really depends on the season.
