BANG! 😂 That 's a noisy sound when you hit the hammer, even the dog in the corner looked up.... 😂😂 If your birthday is soon, ask for some piece of wood, a 3/4 inch sheet of wood, to put underneath the desk. It will kill the sound, so my dog can sleep on 🤣🤣 It's raining every day now, but if there will be dry days I shure will ride my bike. Warm clothing, handle heating and also have to add tecflow Speed cleaner in the gastank and stabilizer. Clean and prepare for the winterperiod. have a great weekend
Dear Carl, The first time ever I did such an operation was with the 3 gears 2 stroke 1 cylinder 50 cc Zündapp engine of my father in law’s moped 😀. He couldn’t afford himself to let a broken gear system getting repaired by a dealer so I decided to help him by repairing the gear system by myself and he did some assistance because it’s sometimes handy to have 4 hands in stead of 2. I did this without a manual and only by labeling the parts what came out of the engine and by using my memory. I learned a lot with this exercise and decided to go for a complete overhaul of the engine. Of course it was super exciting because I had never done anything like this before. I also had no technical training at all, because I was training to be a programmer in Gobol and Assembler (computer languages out of the pre-historical ages😀). So I had learned to think logically, something you can only do if it is in your genes. This also helped me a lot in the overhaul of this relatively simple engine what had only 2 shift forks. The overhaul was a great success because my father in law did drive the moped for years after this. That’s how I got triggered into Zündapp engines and that’s also the reason I bought a Zündapp 50 cc motorcycle at that time. I’ve done an engine overhaal more often after that with motorcycles of friends and later with my first car with had a four stroke V4 engine. Now you might understand why I’m such a fan of yours because it’s your hobby like it was mine plus I understood you also work in the automation world. I look forward to your next vlog and do your lovely family warm greetings of me and my wife WIlleke plus we send you love from the Netherlands
Thanks for sharing Dick. We have something else in common. My actual job is programming in the C language for embedded systems and I had done work in assembly. Also took a class on Cobol when I was in College.
@@wastingmymoneyonmotorcycles Well Carl, I’ve been after working for a while as a programmer with a big Wholesale of electrical components as a buyer and after that as a buyer for a Wholesale in medical instruments. For the last 43 years before my retirement I was a account/project manager with one of the biggest booth designing and construction company in the Netherlands. With my 70 years I’m still working for 3 days a week because I simply can’t stop working completely
Nice work man! Very in depth.
Thanks, hopefully I got it.
