Pokemon Guardians Rising Booster Box Opening Pt. 1

- A Pokemon TCG Guardians Rising Booster Box is opened in this video. This box is brand new and is the 2nd set in the Sun and Moon series of sets. Guardians Rising continues to introduce 7th Generation Pokemon, GX cards, and Alolan Pokemon to the TCG. The booster box includes 36 booster packs, with each booster pack containing 12 total cards, 5 commons, 3 uncommons, 1 reverse holo, 1 rare, 1 energy card, and 1 online TCG code card. This is part 1 of the booster box opening where I open the first 18 packs of the box, the first half of the box had well above average pulls!

I feel the opposite as far as wanting all 7th gen Pokémon in the new sets and not tons of the previous generations we've had a million times.

Can I use Brooklet Hill to view cards in my deck even if I'm not searching for Pokemon.
I believe you have to select a Pokemon from your deck, but yes, you are able to look at your entire deck.

I wish I was able to go to prerelease events and get packs early, but the only way I can is if a store releases them early, or a site I preorder a booster box sends them out early.

If you're referencing the Mystery Power Boxes from Walmart and Toys R Us, I am not a huge fan of them, they are fun to open, for the chance of getting something good, but most times they will have poor pulls and weak sets in them.

You said you completed the Sun and Moon set. Do you collect the Commons too or just the Holos, Rare Reversed Holos, Ultras etc.?
I mainly collect just the ultra rare and secret rare cards, but with as many packs as I open, I usually complete the entire set.

I recently pulled a Kommo-o GX and unfortunately the card looks defective with an uneven border line. Any recommendations?
Unfortunately lots of cards from Guardians Rising are off centered, there isn't much you can do.
@@PrimetimePokemon Yeah my rainbow rare kommo-o gx is off centered as well, but it was my first secret rare so I double sleeved it as soon as I pulled it.

In trade I am really only looking for Gold Star cards. I will certainly do a Hyper Rare GX video in the future, but probably not until a few more Sun and Moon series sets come out.

Is the Guards rising setout also will I be in the next sun and moon set and what will it be called?
Guardians Rising isn't officially released until Friday, May 5th, but many places have it early. The August set is called Burning Shadows.

how do you check if the colorless energy is super rare?
A secret rare will have the numerator higher than the denominator, like 101/100.
aqua patch is pretty useful in the TCG!
That is why it is one of the more valuable cards from this set.

Booster boxes are always the way to go when buying sealed products.
Alright. Also how do you happen to afford all these products? I'd like to collect more and continue opening products but it really burns through my funds
I work full time to afford my hobby, when I was younger I could definitely not afford Pokemon cards.

If a box is mapped, are there still 12 ultra rares and holos?
retropoke Yes, if a box is mapped it just changes the order of an ultra rare placement (2 packs with below average cards, 1 pack with ultra rare or holo, repeating every time)

Really two different types of ultra rares, so it is hard to compare, but GX moves are super powerful.
i preordered 2 gaurdians rising packs and pulled a kommo-o gx

@@PrimetimePokemon I got the secret rare Kommo-o GX from 1 guardians rising pack. It was my first pack ever of guardians rising. I usually dont really open sun and moon cause I like ex cards better than gx cards, but I got a pokeball and it had sun and moon so I just went with it. I love your videos. Please, keep it up.

I have opened a metal box of pokemon of India which I got all ex and 4 -5 normal cards

I know Derium's opened 1,000 Guardians Rising booster packs in a video, but that is unfortunately something I cannot afford to do, mainly because it is just myself on this channel, and I collect the cards, I do not open cards to sell them.

You have to remember, they sell all of the cards they open, plus, multiple people involved in the channel makes things cheaper per person.
