@@flapjackmack8778 Simple but complicated/unique is the best. Ripsquad used to make the most over the top beats in the dp beats era. The more they progressed, their beats got more simple, yet more on point, refined, and "perfect". Although I wouldn't consider myself at ripsquad's level yet, I had a similar experience. The first couple years of making beats, I was doing the absolute most, leaving no room in my drums and stuff. It especially helps simplifying your beats to leave room for vocals
