I dealt with Nico on a warranty issue. Long story but it wasn’t something that was Totem’s fault but it was a peculiar situation. Despite the odd situation he was dedicated to getting things dealt with right. I am a long time multiple Totem owner and will continue to be.
I have watched for the last few years this entity called Totem Acoustics. From Vince speaking about each of his offerings, to the results in reviews. This comprehensive breakdown of the production and builds of… “A PAIR” of Totem Acoustic speakers shows its worth the price. The cabinet… all HDF panels are veneered inside and out. Bracing is used inside the cabinet. The inner structure of the cabinet box is layered with borosilicate paint. This paint furthers to dampen the structure. Now come the components… All the best! This is why Totem Acoustic has such a following.
I have owned both the Totem Sttaf and several pairs of Hawks over the past 20 years. I would be very interested in a pair of Bison Twin Towers but only if Totem brings back the Mahogany and/or Cherry finish Bison models.
Element Metal V2 are terrific, so maybe you can get a deal on a demo pair. Another option: pick up a pair of Fire V2 bookshelf, then add a subwoofer later - not quite the same thing as Metal V2, but would have many of the same sonic attributes
Thank you Khoi for your comment. We had a LOT of footage from our Totem Acoustics trip, and trimmed it down to 12 minutes for this video, so we left some things out of the process. Yes, they test their speakers to make sure everything is good to go before packing them up
Hello Gerald, Bison Tower produces amazing bass for the $, especially considering the compact cabinet. Some folks will feel no need to add a sub. If you add a good one, and carefully dial in phase, amplitude, etc, t will sound even better. There are few speakers that won't benefit from a carefully dialed in sub (or subs)
@@GramophoneMD I agree.. I have a rel T5X, great sub that I use with my current standmount fyne 500 sp, most of my listening is actually Americana , classic rock , steely Dan ..bass is such important element in music and sometimes sub integration is difficult so maybe no sub is just easier. Looking at replacing my standmounts.
Hello Khoi, it took a lot for Totem Acoustics to arrange our day with them. Feel free to reach out to them via their customer support page: totemacoustic.com/totem-acoustic-support/

Hi Bruce, thank you for your comments. You are right - Totem has gotten really good at getting big sound from small, unassuming looking cabinets!
❤❤we love totem signature speakers❤
Agreed Udom, they are excellent
It's wonderful showing keep up the good work
Thank you for your kind comments, Alphonso
No thing on planet earth sounds like the Totem Tribe Tower sounds.
Nice!
I have metal v2 and these are excellent speakers
Hi Michaela, we are envious - yes, ,they are really good
I'm a active guy but I'm fond of these speakers. Arro's/Staff's with Rega works so well.
Yes, it's easy to become fond of Totem after even just a short while of listening
What, not even listening being on your phone is a lack of respect. Love Totem great speakers.
Hi Richard, thank you for your comment. We love and respect Totem Acoustic, and yes, they make great products

Thanks LP for your comment, good to know
I would love to buy a pair of Element Metal v2 in Piano black, just too expensive for me 😢

I cannot see a station where they make the final full sound measurements and inspection test after the speaker assembly.

Thank you for the information. Yes that,s what I thought too! Just to be sure and that is now confirmed by you.
Will they share any data as to how many units (pairs of speakers) or how much $ they do in sales per year?
Hi TJ, private companies rarely share that sort of thing publicly. Thank you for watching our videos!
What’s your impression of the bison tower.. no sub required .

Have you ever thought to change your driver from what I think is the Unifi 6.8 to the Purifi driver.
Hi Bruce, we'll pass along your question to Totem. Thanks for your comment
Hi, do you know if Totem offers tours like yours to private persons and fans of Totem? Thanks.
Hello Khoi, it took a lot for Totem Acoustics to arrange our day with them. Feel free to reach out to them via their customer support page: totemacoustic.com/totem-acoustic-support/
Excellent speakers but... I would like to see a 4th choice of darker wood color on Bison, say mahogany or walnut. Then I'm buying a pair.
Hello Emery, we'll feed that back to Totem 🙂

Who are those beautiful Ladies working at Totem?
