I come back to this video every once in a while to relive my anime days of binge watching seasons of anime at a time. Now I’m busy with other things, I’m not prioritizing it. I don’t like to say I’ve moved on but anime certainly isn’t as prevalent as it once was in my life. Although it isn’t as prevalent it will hold a special place in my heart and the memories gained from it will never be forgotten. From Ichigo fighting Ulquiorra and Grimmjow to Snafu season finale. Everything was so special to me at one point. And I can truly say that I’m thankful. Especially for this video. For me, it showed me the imaginative ability of anime, but also how it is truly art. The smoothness of the animation, appreciation for sakuga, and the effort put into what seems like meaningless interactions. Each little aspect add up to create masterpieces. And without this I wouldn’t have been able to enjoy anime like OPM or FLCL as much as I did. This video taught me to appreciate not only the art, but the artist.

I've never heard of this song or knew of this series. Instead of writing "Who watches this in 2021" i'll say that youtube is bottomless source of content and inspiration. I was alive once.
I feel Rolling Girls was pretty underrated. I think the first episode overhyped it for a lot of people, so especially in a time where KIll la KIll was still fresh in people's heads, people thought "damn this is going to be a cool action series", which it ended up not being. But Rolling Girls is just a nice slice of life in a wacky world with cute girls that you go on adventure with. And while it might not get you hyped, you can crawl into bed and get comfy under the sheets and just have a nice time watching it.
Fuduwahluz I think that why it failed episode one is sooooooooooooooooooopooooooooooooooo different from what the show is actually about that it's a bait and switch that's why I dropped it
bench chavez No. The anime really didn't do much justice for itself. Of course the first episode has to hook people in, but to not hold the same feel and theme as the rest of the episodes did kill the anime from really becoming mainstream.

I feel Rolling Girls was pretty underrated. I think the first episode overhyped it for a lot of people, so especially in a time where KIll la KIll was still fresh in people's heads, people thought "damn this is going to be a cool action series", which it ended up not being. But Rolling Girls is just a nice slice of life in a wacky world with cute girls that you go on adventure with. And while it might not get you hyped, you can crawl into bed and get comfy under the sheets and just have a nice time watching it.

bench chavez No. The anime really didn't do much justice for itself. Of course the first episode has to hook people in, but to not hold the same feel and theme as the rest of the episodes did kill the anime from really becoming mainstream.
