The ABSOLUTE BEST WAY to AVOID HER SUPER NOVA IS TO👏 USE👏 FLASH 👏 PODS 👏 When you you see Luna STANDING STILL charging up that means SHE'S CHARGING HER SUPER NOVA and she does this charge animation TWICE before she does her Super Nova notice after the charges are done she either roars or attacks so be careful and when she does her WAIT about 10secs maybe 30 to SHEATH YOUR WEAPON, run away....FAR AWAY and flash her and once you flash her you have successfully DRAWN OUT and AVOIDED HER SUPER NOVA

Her Supernova is a fucking plague. And is it just me or are the hitboxes on her tail whip worse than Teostra’s? I feel like no matter where I am the tail will hit me even if I’m at her front.
After first cart immediately searched for this video. Which is somewhat mandatory considering my instincts don't tell me to go towards/close to a supernova attack.
I had a lot of success in my time bringing astera jerky/sushifish scales to all my lunastra fights. Saves on max potions, and is faster than Megapotions!
my method for dealing with her supernova is to intentionally get knocked down by it and then just... dont get up lol. as long as you remain knocked down you wont take damage and by the time you auto wake up most of the attack will already be over.
This monster is my biggest wall I’m much more comfortable with Rajang and Kirin. But I didn’t know that wind resistance would help, stygan zinogra breast-armor must be buffed up.
Alright. Wind resistance 5 and I won’t use my frost brand set up. I found that sns shield bash does really good jumping out of range of her her attacks and jumping back in to do damage. Let’s see if I can stop bitching about lunastra being too hard now....
This was a very informative guide on how to counter her. Myself and some of my friends fought her last night, but she beat us after her sleep. I feel I'm partly the cause as I struggle to place myself to deal damage with my SnS. So this will help! Liked & Subbed :) Also, I've been reading that Elderseal helps to delay her charge up for the SuperNovas. Do you know if this is true? :)
I'm dunno if this "tip" wasn't put on the video on purpose or not, but it is common sense anyways: always drink a cool drink when fighting Lunastra. Also, what level of wind resistance is needed to not flinch from Lunastra's Supernova?
A really good video! But, the best way to dodge Lunastra’s moves is not hunting Lunastra. With this video I can see in a more detailed way, why I hate her hahahaha. Anyways, awesome video!
Personally I never found Lunastra to be that hard its just her supernova attack that causes people to cart. They won't bring a heatproof mantle. That's a solid way to counter her and drink a cool drink. If I can beat her in armor that's weak to fire you can to ^_^
Im at end of vanilla MHW's high rank. Beat her 2 times, dont know how. Looking at all the cool items/gear in the game and how many of her Gems you need....makes my head dizzy.

the oxford university of monster hunter
This fight is mildly enjoyable now. Thanks. Have you thought about a safi vid?
What about fireproof mantle? it lessens lunastra's flames and supernova damage
nice tutorials dude
Wait, there is a mini supernove? What? My takeaway: swap out my callenger charm for wind resist, get easy kills.
I'm dunno if this "tip" wasn't put on the video on purpose or not, but it is common sense anyways: always drink a cool drink when fighting Lunastra.
Also, what level of wind resistance is needed to not flinch from Lunastra's Supernova?
Lvl 5
A really good video! But, the best way to dodge Lunastra’s moves is not hunting Lunastra.
With this video I can see in a more detailed way, why I hate her hahahaha.
Anyways, awesome video!
Has anyone found that fire mantle reduces the wind flaps pressure?
Yes, Sidewards

Luna is pretty fun ngl.
Personally I never found Lunastra to be that hard its just her supernova attack that causes people to cart. They won't bring a heatproof mantle. That's a solid way to counter her and drink a cool drink. If I can beat her in armor that's weak to fire you can to ^_^
Most HH has all wind pressure negated, that alone makes her not scary already
I'm surprised you don't have a pinoy slang... btw good stuff... I'll try to defeat lunastra now😀😀
Narrator: This brave hunter never returned.
Explains why I keep getting randomly hit, tripped or stunlocked
can you do namielle? thanks for the guides
please utilize wind res
Im at end of vanilla MHW's high rank. Beat her 2 times, dont know how.
Looking at all the cool items/gear in the game and how many of her Gems you need....makes my head dizzy.
i think mhw is a fair game for the most part but this monster is just pure BS difficulty
Wow, This BGM is great, Please tell me what BGM
I made this BGM from fruity loops, its just a simple hip hop loop remix of the MHW theme. You can message our FB page and I can share with you when I have time
If you still can't evade her move just use windproof and earplug
This is the hardest monster for me..i better fight rajang instead of this monster haha
Good tutorial btw..
definitely subbed, even thou i have play 1500hrs hunt still like a casual lol.. and i hate lunastra
i just far caster out of there for the super nova
How do i unlock Master Rank Lunastra?
I don't necessarily hate lunastra but damn she annoys me
I done a tempered lunastra fight in the guiding lands with randoms and I couldn't count the amount of times we fainted like it had to of been over 30
