you poke fun at this song, but years later you come back realizing this song is about you. because you come back to something you didn't realize was completely awesome.
I wonder if when Tool and Failure toured together they ever mixed up Adam Jones with their bass player. Hey man, you’re not on this bus, and you’re not in our band! - “Oh yeah...”
YES!!! I fucking LOVE Alicia Widar! She does the most amazing yet simple covers of 80s-90s music. I love her cover of There is a Light That Never Goes Out by The Smiths. I requested Junkhead by AIC n Idk if it was a coincidence or if she saw my request but she did a cover of it and it was so good. I've converted literally all of her videos to mp3s so I can put them on my phone n hear them anytime. lol, I hope that's not somehow illegal.
Well at the time rock radio was stuff like Matchbox 20 and Bush. Failure sounded different and not as immediate. I do think if this had come out when it was supposed to it might’ve been bigger.
@@Andyface79 true and those bands have a place but why weren't their record company like hey this is better than most shit, and push them,I just answered my own question, cuz they would've been heard too much and ruined,🤔🤘
Alicia Widar does a kick-ass acoustic cover! Paramore has a great cover too! Such an underrated band. They seem to get unfairly lumped in with bands like Silverchair and Collective Soul - bands that tried to use the whole flannel-grunge look to sell records. Not saying those bands didn't have a few good songs n it was probably their labels that made them do it, but still...they don't belong in that category imo
Yeah failure is definitely not grunge… although I kind of take issue with that label. Take Nirvana, the only good grunge band pretty much (imo). Even they were more punk/folk rock than anything else.
I would really like to hear modern day Failure with a second guitarist. They already have a huge sound with just Greg on guitar but they could be galactic with a second player.
Wal MK1. Spray painted silver. Went through at least 3 de-re fret jobs in its life under Greg. Now owned by Justin Chancellor of Tool as his backup to his main Wal. Was used on the final production of Aeaima.
This may be the most '90s thing I have ever witnessed
ur damn right
yep - it was a pretty good decade. so thankful to have been there to enjoy it.
It's glorious, as a young teen from this era.

Ken Andrews was probably damn near 31 here and he looks like a high school senior haha
he was still in his 20s here, like 26

Such a great performance. Those Guys shoud be much more known than they are.
I want to leave a Celladoor performance like this behind before I die. This is perfect. This is Failure.
Zero dislikes as it should be
this was way better than I expected and way better than it has any business of being
Gorgeous performance, and such a gem to witness all these years later 🙏🏼♥️

They did a tour together indeed, and Adam often played guitar with them as a guest in Macaque
Greg would probably have no trouble playing Tool songs on guitar. He is quite the skilled guitarist too!
Tool and Failure toured together in ‘94 and ‘97, MJK has gone on record saying Failure’s his favourite band too.
Dam now that's an upload!!
What a song
Kens bowl hair.
Great rendition.
What a gem of a find we got here .. Thank you

Their record lable was floundering and gave the band ZERO support.

This is considered post grunge alt rock that followed in the second half of the 90s.
How come this one says in the open lyrics "i thought i drop you easily" but other ones say "i heard you driving in my car"?
I think the radio edit might be shorter and start there
The music video is the same too
Sounds like something suitable to play outside a monastery in Tibet or Himalayas.

It's a Wal, but not sure if it's an MK 1, 2, or 3

Brit pop had Creep...Alt rock had Stuck On You

The radio edit starts like that.
Too bad nobody else in the band can sing so they could do the harmonies.
