Hope you guys enjoy the 2025 edition of this guide! Where do you hope ESO's chapter goes in 2025? I'm guessing Whiterun! :) 2025 Feels like a good year to return to Skyrim
Ive played ESO off and on trying to get into it. It has so much I would want from an MMO, I just find the combat a bit lacking or janky. I want to like it but it puts me off after a while. I think I mainly like the melee combat so if I come back to try one day ill stick with that.
Awesome guide as always. Just with the tutorial. It's no longer the Isle of Belfleur. It's the OG Harborage quest with the updated walk through. Not sure when it was changed. Keep up the great work. Ive got over 1k hours in ESO and your builds havent steered me wrong yet
This is what confused me also like the previous guide for 2024. At the start after the tutorial, which for me was in that prison area where I had to defeat a boss and a lady sacrificed herself to free the prophet, I was in Vulkhel Guard but from there I went to unlock all kenarthi roost skyshards and got myself to lv 13 through quests and dolmen public events (spiral icon on map)(finally got restoration staff which was a wep i could choose from iirc when i levelled up to lv 9).Yesterday I was doing dolmen public event near vulkel guard with the exp scroll the game gave me at the start and I'm pretty much set on what skill I want to develop. Also got a horse at lv 10 automatically and unlocked the skill from the pvp skill like (when u go to cyrodil do the intro quest as well as the trebuchet quest, very easy) which gives me permanent 30% riding speed on horse, very nice. Then i saw that at the stables in major cities u can spend gold to increase speed, stamina or carry capacity for the mount. Since I don't have eso plus I went for carry capacity and yeah, I am high elf arcanist who wants to become a support healer (even tho I'm reconsidering it since so many people already are playing that role and it's overcluttered)
Hi! Is the "Which Zone Should You Start In?" part actually up to date? I've just started playing the game a few days ago and I'm pretty sure I started in the middle of “Soul Shriven in Coldharbour” quest, after which I went to Stros M'Kai directly, without having to pick a portal.
they changed the starter experience two weeks ago, and i forgot to take the bit about the old starter experience out! sorry about that. It should be removed from this vid shortly, YT is processing it out now for me
Daaang I was just watching your 2024 beginner guide earlier today, and I'm excited to dive into this one! I've owned ESO for a while but never got very far, and I'm starting to really get into it this week.
They made changes to the new player into and while skipping the into tutorial (and the associated sky shard) may let you choose to start anywhere, I know that if you do the tutorial it drops you on the start islands. So um..you may want to check on that...
Does choosing ur starting zone only apply to first time players? Because i made a new toon a few weeks ago and didnt have to do that. I started off in kenarthi's roost and onto auridon from there lol
They changed the starting area in the PVP update. It makes for an easier beginning experience. The DLC zones have some crazy events that can kill an early toon in no time.
Hey ! I just finished your ESO 2024 Beginner Guide, and I'm wondering which topics are different / news in this ESO 2025 Beginner Guide ☺️ Thank you a lot for everything you explain, it helped me a lot since I started ESO 1 month ago 🎉
Just picked up the game today,, also happens to be my first mmorpg and i wont like its a little confusing and its def got a learning curve but so far playing with my buddy we're having a blast!
I'm a Arcanist Tank level 396 cp and have all followers aside the new ones in the shop and I'm loving every minute of it just wish the game had coss save or cross platform to play with my Xbox friends
My only comment is that I am sad the old Lucky logo is gone forever lol🥲 this is ShadowGH057 btw had to name change started a business and all that lol, Keep up the good work and maybe do a stream or 5 😍

Thanks Ghost, as an older gamer that introduced some older gamers to this amazing game, your guides are always extensive and easy to understand!

I think Whiterun as well, or central Black Marsh
It better have the iconic fade in...
You do the most complete guides. Thank you.

Exactly, this was recently updated, with the same update as the battelground updates
Thanks for the heads up! I missed that one when I was going over all the changes this year

Good timing for this
Glad to hear!

Amazing video! Perfect for a returning player. ❤️
Hope you're enjoying your return to Tamriel!
Why is High Isle your current expansion? Have you never gotten Necron and Gold Road?
Yeah I have all of the new expansions, need to delete that sentence from the vid!
@@LuckyGhost Ok, I was just confused.

@tyreseperrin223 ah, i guess i must've skipped it🤔 Im not a new player tho. I decided to make a second toon to re-do the zone stories
They changed the starting area in the PVP update. It makes for an easier beginning experience. The DLC zones have some crazy events that can kill an early toon in no time.
