I know these kind of movies always get a back and forth for inaccuracies and changes from the base information, but I think I cherish them greatly for getting me into the studying of certain mythos and history. I’ll always take a day or two to watch these kind of movies.
They are myths they've been retold countless times to begin with, I don't think "accuracy" can even be used in that context unless it just goes completely off the rails

@@Faun471 I mean Perseus still kills Medusa, still gets the godly gifts like the shield and the sword, and the Pegasus instead of Hermes boots, the Gorgons are still involved, he still saves what's her name from the monster, the second film I'll give you that that was some nonsense. Still really liked it ages ago, used to be my favourite movies even though their quality is debatable
@Starboiyo420 I can relate to that. I also cherish them just because I'm so interested in the theme. While the movies don't may be masterpieces, it's kinda interesting and fun to watch them.

That's a pretty deep and impactful line for perseus character..he was given the chance to live to an utopia the place where gods lived but he denied..
his humility and love for his family are the most important traits of his character..a man ,a god..

I just realized that the king of the kingdom threatened by Hades has played Greek roles all the way back in Troy, to 300, to Clash of the Titans, dude loves Greek roles apparently
Yeap the bruh is in every fucking Greek movie the last 22 years.
You just won't stop crafting the most perfect edits. It honestly seems like you could take the most boring of movies and make them seem like epic tales of loss and redemption within a 5 minute video.

This was my First International Mythological movie watched at age of 14. I was so fascinated my the wars between - Man & God.
I remember every moment of movie.
Also, Perseus chose to become The Man over becoming of God.
And That's why I started to understand what it means to be a Human.
Why Gods choose to shift into Humans temporarily. Ex - Zeus & Indra.
Bcoz being a Human is so Exciting & Adventurous than being God.
This life is so exciting & if not - We can make it.

I'm in love with these movies. I enjoy both the old version and the new one equally. Just like in the case of Spartacus and 300.

I only really loved Wrath of The Titans personally. Just because, it was allowed to be its own movie and not just a remake of the original and it doesn’t try to tell an old myth, it tries to tell a new story, and it does well. I want to see Perseus save his son and Zeus, and the side characters were great, such as Aegenor and Andromeda. They also really made the fight scenes better. I don’t know if it’s the better camera direction or the effects, but they look more intense and cooler in Wrath.
The only change I wished they did was make Apollo the secondary villain. Admitley this only would have worked if they kept Apollo in Clash, but still it would have give a good continuity to the first movie.
Bravo Zurik. This is your best video since Achilles. Truly, another masterpiece. Bravo!

One of the few but best fantasy movies based on Greek mythology. Know it wasn't very well received but never knew why . Was full just seeing Zeus Hades and other Gods on screen.

Me and my father absolutely love these films they have a great cast a fantastic set design and props and the cgi is never so bad or so advanced it looks to unreal
To me these films look as feel like they are reality like the war of Troy happens just years after these movies where brad Pitt and Eric Bana fight and die

This is probably the most flattering depiction of the remake I've seen. Which is not a statement I make lightly.
For as far as adaptations of mythology go, the remake and its sequel are the definition of Poe's law, in my opinion.

Perseus is my all time favorite Greek mythology character. He's a brave and smart warrior, he killed Medusa the gorgon who can turn any living creatures to stone, he defeated the mighty Kraken which almost killed Andromeda and prevented it destroying the entire city Argos. He battled monsters, and his own brother Ares the god of war. He even destroyed Kronos. But most importantly, even his father Zeus offered him a chance to be in Olympus to be one of the gods Perseus chose to live and fight as a man, because he has everything he need being as a mortal
Perseus - the strength , agility , speed . the greatest hero of them all
Superman is just a retelling of Perseus huh? A man with god like powers who chooses to use them for the aid and protection of humanity rather than selfish reasons.
