Mega Man 11 - Gear Fortress Stage 2

And now for basically the last full stage in the game. This one has you being chased by these giant skull crushers, that will kill on contact. There's 3 sections of this, with the third one being vertical instead of horizontal. Speed Gear is a good pal for these segments.
The boss, Mawverne, bears a striking resemblance to the Mega Man 5 boss Circiling Q9. Can't say the same for how to fight him. You still have to hit the head in the center, but to get to it you have to shoot the exterior enough for it to open up. While you're doing this, it will be circling around the room taking shots at you. When it's opened up, it will go in the opposite direction it was going, firing a spread of projectiles instead of just one. It will take two hits before it goes back into it's shell. It can also send out little drones that will chase you for a while before recalling them. These can be destroyed. At half health it teleport to a spot in the arena and activate Power Gear, in which the outer casing will spread open, and the head will fire 3 large lasers at your location. It can do this multiple times. Bounce Ball is the recommended weapon, just make sure you line your shots up correctly when aiming for the center.
