Now it's time to storm Wily's new Gear Fortress. He's so proud of his Double Gear system he themed his fortress around gears. As tradition, the various enemies we encountered throughout the game all show up here in some form. We also have the first and really only appearance of the Yoku Blocks in this game, outside of Challenge Mode at least. Gotta have them somewhere in each game.
Speaking of obligatory appearances, the Yellow Devil makes his return yet again, sporting his pattern straight from Mega Man 1. He's susceptible to the Chain Blast, the Power Gear version especially since there's very little time to load up all 4 bombs before he closes his eye again. The Yellow Devil is outfitted with the Speed Gear, where he turns into many Mini-Devils that parade across the screen, concluding with them all falling from the top.

This stage is easily the most difficult stage in the entire game. That platforming section where you jump on spinning wheels explains it all.
I found it easier to use Rush jet in that section and avoid the gears entirely. I used Tundra man’s weapon to wipe the screen of enemies while I go from one blue platform to the next.
Keep jumping with Speed Gear. Don’t think. It’s easy!
Load up on Beat calls and E-tanks / W- tanks.
The hardest part is Yellow Devil MK III
Funny thing how this guy is named Yellow Devil Mk III, the previous one was MKII which was like 7 games way back which was Megaman 3 from wily stage 2 boss.

Megaman 11 weapons are the set that has the most use and no useless ones.
Impact man saved me so many times as i was able to use it as if it was X’s airdash

Don't lose hope. The eyebrow dance was lost in MM8 for the most part, but it did come back in MM9.

Excellent run. I'm having such a hard time with this stage. I wasn't expecting a modern Mega Man to be this rough.

Fun Fact: Yellow Devil MKIII can also use Power Gear, charging up and shooting multiple shots out of his eye.

The one thing I really wished they kept is Megaman floating in the air during screen transitions.
I’m having the hardest time with this boss. I’m not quick enough to dodge and get him with damage before he starts breaking down again
Ngl rush and impact man carried me during this section. I did my run without double gear, impact giving me literally X’s air-dash made things easy peasy.

@@camscrappychannel2970 Really? I just used Acid Barrier with Speed Gear through the whole stage and passed on the first try (though, I was a little lucky in some parts). The Yellow Devil that got me and I took hours until I could finally beat it. Also, never said that THE GAME itself was easy. Tundra Man's and Fire Man's stages were a nightmare

nick martinez mercado I finally did. Just gotta make sure you load up on energy and try your best to dodge his attacks, slow down time right before he forms so you can attack him before he breaks down again

This stage is beyond infuriating without Speed Gear Booster
3 years later but here i go lol.
I did my run without gears (for added challenge). Use impact man as a dash and you basically get X’s movement options. Tundra man is a wipe screen, and block man is more broken than it appears
