Salmon FRENZY| Pier Fishing | Landbased | Victoria

Mornington Peninsula has been my go-to fishing area just because it is closer to my house than most other spots and it has been paying off recently. Originally, I went fishing this day to chase calamari however it was very slow. I had some info passed on my James from Fishing Victoria and he told me salmon were around, and guess what I smashed them catching some stonkers!

For those asking about the setup, I am using a G.Loomis IMX SJR paired with a Daiwa Certate 16 2500 with PowerPro braid. I normally use this setup to chase mulloway on soft plastics.
Probably one of the best hookups I have ever had on video!!
