- With the absolutely horrendous weather we have been enduring in Melbourne it has been difficult to find a day to spend on the water - desperate for a fish we hit of the old reliable stomping ground Gunnamatta beach in Melbourne Victoria for some Australian Salmon

Thanks Adz, you've got me fired up to head down there for a fish on the next nth wind/ high tide! Looking forward to your next video bud👍
Thanks man! Absolutely get out and amongst it, it should be firing for the next couple of months hope you smash em💪🏼
Dude I’m like 5 kms from this beach. looks like heaps of fun, I need to get out there!
I rekn I'd be there on every other day if I was that close
What a hit session 🎣🔥🔥
Nice fishing session... I just recently did some surf fishing down at Lorne.. Got several all undersized on bait. Purchased a 20g Halco twisty but yet to try it. What's the weight of the twisty you used. Whats your method?... Do you Cast and reel in fast?
30 or 40g is is usually ideal to get a bit more distance. Medium fast retrieve
@@AdzFishingThanks, I will go and buy a 40g one and try it next time I fish.. 👍👍
Where is australia is this ?
Awesome video bro
Cheers bruz
Thanks Adz, love the videos. If you've ever been to Kilcunda, what's your thoughts on that place for Salmon.
Thanks mate. Been there a few times, always only ended up with 1-3 fish, never cleaned up personally. That's not to say you won't I hear many reports of salmon going off there at times
@@AdzFishing OK, thanks for your time Adz
Hey man, obviously late watch to the vid but start of autumn, do you think gunna will still be doing alright with salmon, im super new to fishing and have a surf rod, do you think gunna is well active or somewhere else is better around mornington area?
Gunna is your best bet that side of town. They'd be going ok now they're always around just a matter of how many, will only be getting better through to winter.
Do they like to eat poppers?
Absolutely
Bro, which halco twisties you using to be exact?
40grams
Hey mate, what rod combo are you using ?
It's a Shimano jewel 4-8kg 7ft with a 2500 Sedona
@@AdzFishing thanks bud. Keep up the great work
Nice one mate... I'm up here in Nth Qld, you're making me home sick!... lol

Poor bloke went ass over head shnoz straight into the sand haha
Thank you 🙏
Brother I follow you I m new in town and I’m trying to know the area for fishing at this moment since it’s winter
love ya work brother - keep it up - Subbed :)
Thanks bro
Would it be worth going this weekend does it matter if it’s a strong northerly?
And do you reccomend high tide or does it not matter?
@@rabbiyitzchaksviben-tzionl3203 northerly is ok but it's blowing 40k's, swell is up too so not worth it this weekend imo. Aim between hour before peak high tide and hour into the run out. Gives you 3 hours of prime time fishing
