I actually have this jacket as well. I'm 5'8 160lbs. Happy with the athletic Small. It's snug, but looks great. Plus I know after enough wear it will break in a bit.
Yeah I'm gonna wait to get this jacket lol I have it in my cart as I type this, but I'm 5'10 at 205lbs. Already lost some weight and getting back to my normal weight of around 170ish that I've been most of my life (before getting a desk job LOL). I feel like the large would be ok for me once I lose a bit, but not sure on the sleeves. Not sure if they would come up short or not. I may just end up ordering the large and XL in athletic fit and seeing what feels best. My arms (biceps) aren't as big as yours, so I wouldn't have the issue of them being tight in the arm holes. This jacket looks absolutely incredible. Such a simple design, but really pops! Looks great on you brotha! Great review as well! Other reviews just unbox it and lay in on a table in front of them or something. You showed the whole process of unboxing and really pointed out all the details!

Hey I just got another leather jacket from Thursday and there was a very strong smell, it stunk up the house. I tried airing it out for 2 weeks but no luck. At the end I just exchanged it with Thursday. I would recommend exchanging it, it is a very easy process
I been eyeing this jacket for a while. I have the same issue what size to order. I’m 5-10” 190 chest size 43-44 i was thinking to get XL slim fit.. I have asked them they said leather they use is Calf Skin Leather.. Is that Athletic or Slim Fit or is it loose style? I do have bigger biceps lol so another reason I’m thinking on xl. I did try some local L and xl jackets leather ones L just feels tight around my shoulders biceps and armpits I can’t connect my arms.. but I don’t want it to be to loose around my waste

The jacket is still in great condition, I love this jacket. Been eyeing the flight jacket by Thursday. I just simply wipe it down, I don’t do anything heavy cleaning as I am carefully never to put it in conditions that would damage the jacket, or I’m just extra careful. I have thier moto jacket for a few years now. The buttons broke off almost instantly. Had to replace them. Zippers aren’t the best. I wish they used YKK zippers. I love how soft the calf skin though. I’m 5’6 and 140 lbs and small fits a bit big for me and considering leather stretches. I also own 5 pairs of boots from them and 2 pairs of sneaker. I trust the brand although there’s some room for improvements. I wish they have boots and jackets that are suitable for winter. Just switching the inner linings of the boots and jackets might work.

They are really good about exchanging and replacing if you have any problems, customer service is top notch. which boots do you have? Hey Michael does matte leather feel like standard leather or suede/nubuck? It rains frequently here and standard leather handles rain better than suede

Sorry if this is late, but just wanted to give my input. Anything you want is a good look for a man of any age. Confidence in your own decisions and tastes is the only thing you need. The racer jacket looks amazing and if it matches your boots I'd imagine that looks great!

If L is a bit too tight I would suggest going up in size. It’s always better to have it a bit loose then too tight and you can’t move around.
Would like to have seen the back of the jacket. Does it have a seam running up the middle?
