*I Checked it on my Sat Nav a few years ago and the Train achieved 126 MPH the same Speed as Mallard (4-6-2) Steam Loco in 1938 - 86 Years Ago - Progress my **-ass-** !*
Living in Southampton and being retired I love to have the odd 2 day trip out train travelling ..usually Scotland and I am always looking for different places to visit. Not been to Lincoln for many years - is it worth spending a day or two in the area ? Love your videos and the quality of your photography is excellent - would be a great career for you. Keep them coming mate.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I would say it’s definitely worth staying in Lincoln for a couple of nights, both the cathedral and castle are absolutely amazing!
Another enjoyable video. I'm going to delve a little here, but could I ask who your companion is? If I were doing what you're doing at that age I know exactly who would be accompanying me - My Grandmother. She would have loved the chance for some extra travelling, with visits to interesting places....
@@RorysTravels Good for you Rory. Not enough younger people spend quality time with their parents/grandparents these days. It's also great that she obviously supports your You Tube Channel.
I enjoy your videos
My home county as well Rory. Great scenery and video. keep them coming!
Another good video. You always make them interesting. Are you going to introduce us to the person who joins you on your journeys?
I’ll have to try and persuade my mum (the person who joins me on most of my journeys) to feature in one of the vlogs 😂
Highly watchable, thanks Rory.
Great video,love LNER & Lincoln.😊

Most relaxing and you have reminded me that it's about time I went back and had another look at Lincoln. 😀
Amazing video Rory, very lucky to have such a good train service and sights in your doorstep!
Great video! I'm a train driver in Sydney, Australia and I love your videos! Keep it up.
Such good vibes, and really showcasing the UK as a place to visit for the discerning traveller. Greetings from Ireland ☘
