    • @helenlauer9545
      @helenlauer9545 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Actually that is a good question and you made me think of the answer: to avoid the programmes being censored. If you don't speed up the sound or slow it down, there are trackers evidently that wipe off youtube material that has disobeys copyright. Alternatively by speeding up it may be a way of marking sequences of video clips. He keeps these short not out of desire but to dodge the censors. If he play the whole thing the authorities will take it down. I'm guessing.

    For those of you insisting that I buy the DVDs, in order to watch full episodes, well I don't buy DVDs anymore. Physical media is pretty much dead. I would, however, gladly pay to download full hi-rez episodes, but they're not available anywhere on-line. I would also gladly watch full episodes with commercials, if uploaded to TH-cam. Until then, I'll keep complaining that there are no more full episodes being made available.

      It's not even that Shatners bad , he's in on the joke . Shatner admittedly phones in a lot of performances or hams them up but he doesn't take himself seriously and he's very self deprecating , so even at his worst he's a lot of fun onscreen.
