People can disappear, I almost did, in the middle of a busy city too. When I was 15 back in 89, I left a friend's apartment, walking about a mile and a half to another apt complex, instead of walking down a busy 4 lane and turning rt down another road, I decided to cut some distance out by cutting through a vacant 1 1/2 acre lot with knee high grass and no brush. Usually that lot was mowed, but hadn't been in a month, I got midway and broke through a piece of rotten plywood, that had been placed over an old water well! My adrenaline kicked in instantly, and somehow I managed to cat grab the edge before falling in. I knew the danger of never being found if I lost my grip and fell in completely, as I heard dirt and debris falling into water seconds after I dislodged it. I desperately clawed my way up out of that well, and was terrified because, even though there were two busy roads a couple hundred feet away, the cars traveling 45mph nearby with no stoplights close by, would never have heard me calling for help, and I would've ended up one of those people that left point a. Walking a short distance to point b, and vanished without a trace!! There's an assisted living facility on that lot today, I sometimes wonder exactly how many missing people actually met that, or similar, non supernatural fate?! Just thought I'd share that.
When I was about 12 years old after my Mom left, my dad had a buddy who owned a pizzeria with games and billiards that I would go to after school every day it was within walking distance of the school, it was an old building with a few apartments above. The building had a basement which was filled with old stuff it was a hoarders dream so my dad's buddy hired 2 of his normal customers to begin cleaning it out they were coming up and down the stairs all day until they did not come back up, my dad's buddy had went down to find out what they were up to and did not see them anywhere until he heard screams from the 2 boys it turned out that they fell into an old basement water well and we're stranded in the freezing water until the VFD could arrive and rescue them luckily it was not a recovery effort. Beware of wood sheets on the floor or ground.
It is true, animals like and arctic wolves and foxes will take articles of cloth and clothing to line their dens. It was a bit of a problem at a northern military outpost, the animals recognize the value of the garments right away. A scientist friend of mine discovered nearby wolf dens and a small collection of hats, gloves, etc. and proved the behavior of lining their dens with the stuff.
Yes, and remember that story about a dingo taking a baby? The mother was accused of killing the baby until many years later they found the baby's clothing in a dingo's den.
I did electrical, communications and data work for Bill's C.O.R.E. Digital Pictures back in '94-'95 and all I can say is he is exactly in person as he is here, humble and gracious and just an amazing person. 91 years old and still solid, watching him on television and eventually meeting him in person and working for him was an awesome experience. They had so many SGI machines crammed in to a tiny area, they began to overheat and shut down...before the days of liquid cooling, passive cooling also required a shitload of air conditioning for I.T. rooms...the site super for the project put the water tank on the wrong floor and the drywallers hit a sprinkler head and flooded out the offices below C.O.R.E. Digital's floor...that job didn't have any dull moments.
Enjoyable comment! It is really gratifying to know that you found Mr. Shatner to be humble and gracious. Often, people we admire have 'feet of clay'. It is good to know that his character has not been 'tarnished' by Hollywood and all that fame. Blessings to you.
The Bennington triangle victims were not attacked by a mountain lions. Paula Weldon would have screamed and the people behind her would have heard that. There would also be signs of a struggle, blood, fibers of clothing ripped off,Indentations in the dirt indicating a struggle. None of that was found.
It's true that there are quite a few cases where hikers were separated by just a few feet and the one was never seen again. And these reports ALWAYS include silence from the missing person. That just can't happen with an animal predation.
The most disturbing aspect of this are the hunters that go missing. There’s looking and listening on a higher level than most people. And even if they get taken without a trace or sound. Very disturbing
Possibly...they found a way to incapacitate people while taking them away. This may be Beyond our realm of understanding, and the truth is probably more horrifying than we can imagine

I believe the police sgt's explanation about the Kaz II. As for hiking, I love it. These days, though, I'd take a personal locator beacon with me. If I'm hurt or lost, activating it can make the difference. it might have saved actor Julian Sands.
Your question about the sail has been answered about fifty times. Why do you keep on about it? There's nothing weird about a shredded sail on a boat that's been abandoned for days. It happens, and it doesn't take a storm or even much wind at all.
When I heard that there was fishing line around the rudder, I immediately thought that one of them tried to cut it away from the rudder got into difficulties his friend jumped in to help, in turn got into difficulties and his brother jumped in and they all were drowned, sadly.
... yet no life preservers were missing. Wouldn't that be the first thing to do ... throw these in the water then take time to come around with the catamaran? These were collectively experienced sailors.
I thought similar.... but that shark / sharks attacked. I believe Aliens exist, but doubt they are living on the bottom of our oceans, nor do I think they were plucked off the boat from a UFO. This is strange, but I feel the reason is less sinister, and more accidental.
I think that is the most likely possibility. It was an accident of some kind where they all suddenly were in the water, trying to save each other; also, since they are all passed 50 years old, one could have had a heart attack and fallen in, the others jumped in to save him etc, sad story, but I dont believe in getting into wild stories about giant squid or the standard explanation, aliens LOL, since there is fishing line tangled, and no evidence of squids or aliens was found, you go with the evidence.
Why would all three experienced sailors jump off the vessel?, Couldn't the captain just sail in a circle ,or throw in the floaty things into the water ? I highly doubt all three would have jumped in willingly.
I feel like either a fight broke out or something terrible happened, perhaps during fishing one got pulled into water and got hurt. One jumped in to help other, maybe a shark got them, idk. But still doesn't explain sail shredded
It's hard to predict what people will do in certain circumstances, but it seems to me like the first thing they would want to do if somebody fell overboad is stop the boat. And about the young pilot. He didn't say anything about being disoriented or confused. He claimed to see something he thought was a plane. And yes it's suspicious the way he ended his transmissions with, "it's not a plane!" But other witnesses saw something hovering outside the plane too.
We just videoed something strange that looks like a cylinder flying. It's silver and turns direction and it's super fast. I've never seen anything like this before. I did see something in the late 70's. Our whole town saw it and they said it was a weather balloon but, it doesn't make sense now that I'm older. It couldn't have just disappeared as fast as it appeared over the football field.
Yes, a family saw Valentich's plane in the sky being followed by a large green light/orb. They thought the plane was going to ditch into the sea, but they lost sight of the plane when it went behind a hill. The photo was taken by a photographer who was there a few hours earlier and believed he may have caught the UFO on camera; the black blob turned out to be a development error.

It's easy to manipulate thoughts. You can literally make someone believe something happened when in actuality it did not. We don't know the pasts of the 3 men. If someone knew they were heading out on a trip, they could have easily been followed and held at gun point, and lured into another boat. I think it's a good theory. Especially if we do not know their personal history or lives.

I’d love to have been at that production meeting. Mr Shatner saunters in and quietly states I think for the next one I should enter stage right riding a horse thru suburbia. Production crew look at each other. Mr Shatner says Make it so. And so, it was.
I wonder if he knew my Riding Instructure Jim Wylie. My mom and I actually saw him lift a horse to get it into a Horse Trailer, because it didn't want to go in, so he literally made it happen! Both my mom and I were shocked when we saw him do that! He passed away a while back, and I didn't know, until I saw his Obituary big as life in the Newspaper. He was well known in the Riding Communities, and had been around a for long time, so maybe Bill Shatner and Jim's paths, may have crossed at one time or another.
Oh brother. I wrote the word INSTRUCTOR, and when I hit my space bar, it changed the word to just what you see. Totally wrong spelling, and also meaning something else !
12:03 USO I believe is the acronym for UNIDENTIFIED “SUBMERGED” OBJECT. This highly trained professional seems to be struggling with the definition. I believe the operation she preforms is known as a WALLET ECTOMY.
Was thinking the same, the way she thinks she knows better and the way she over-pronounced the words she’s trying to “teach” us and in the end she got it completely wrong - was absolutely priceless 😂. It’s not called an Unidentified Sea Object for a simple reason, because such objects also exist under non salty water such as lakes and rivers. She’s so full of herself and so misinformed.
I searched what could shred sails on a boat and this came back : " Broaching is when the boat heels too far to one side, or capsizes. The boat falls on its ear, its bow driving into the direction of the wind. The mast tips sideways, forcing its sails to sweep the water's surface or submerge. A broach can shred sails and toss crewmen overboard." Hmmm ...
that seems more plausible then a a giant squid (not saying they don't exist) suddenly jumping up and grabbing all 3 men simultaneously and disappearing back into the sea...I guess that wouldn't make the show as entertaining - I mean come on, that's their go to explanation!?
Trimarans and catamarans don't tend to heel or broach (broaching usually happens to single-hulled sailboats during an uncontrolled jibe while sailing downwind). If a multi-hulled boat does have one of their proas lift out of the water they tend to capsize completely, and, because of their wide beam, they are very stable upside down so they tend to stay that way. If Kaz II had capsized to the point her sails touched water, she'd have turned over and remained upside down. I personally have seen this happen during an ocean race off the coast of British Columbia. Single-hulled sailboats can roll completely and even pitchpole and come back upright, but trimarans never do. Also, such extreme motion usually snaps the mast; it doesn't just rip the sails. This boat's ripped headsail was the result of luffing because no one was around to trim it as the boat rounded up into the wind. .
The interesting thing about the Australian fishermen one is nobody refers to the shredded sail. How would a squid do that? Do I have a theory as to what tore the sail? No, I don't.
I wish I could just sit down and have a cup of coffee with him. I love to hear him talk and tell stories. Of course we all know this will never happen. 😊
There were many strange disappearances and occurrences at Bennington Triangle....I researched it previously.... its really weird the things that have happened there
I love William Shatner. Not from Star Trek, as I've never watched it. Perhaps as a child I caught a glimpse here and there but not enough to know any of the characters or any part of the storyline in the least. However, just seeing him in various adverts, Priceline in particular, and as a host to various programs, such as Weird or What, I've come to grow very fond of him as an actor. While he tends to offer one main character when working as a spokesperson or a host and hence playing himself, it's apparent, to me at least, how versatile he can be. His range of acting is, without a doubt, significant enough to put him up there with other actors (actress as well) who have won a multitude of awards across various platforms. Not to mention, when cast as himself as either a host or a spokesperson for whatever company/product, the persona he presents is very likeable and relatable. I think, unfortunately for the world at large, Shatner is greatly underrated and because of that, the world was not afforded the chance to see him excel at his craft in all the ways he could have because he wasn't cast in enough roles or in a greater variety of roles that would have afforded him the opportunity to really shine as I can see he is able to. Sadly, that's a regrettable loss for us. #IHeartShatner #WillIShat4Eva
I actually sailed on the Kazz 2 for one year in 2011. The name was changed to Wicked... We sailed from Brisbane to Phuket... Our engine mount broke three times... We sailed 500 nautical miles up the Malacca Straits without an engine... Experienced a few dangerous moments... Things can go wrong and lucky to be alive...
@@chirelle.alanalooney8609 .. Yes, a former Lt Commander of the US Navy told me that very same thing. I was left speechless when he told me that, because the guy is of the type to be totally skeptical about everything.
The problem with the pirates theory is that pirates want the boat. Nobody took the boat, so what happened? I also want to know why the main sail was all ripped up. What can do that?
In the first story of the 3 guys sailing, the last suggested possibility was a man over board theory and I dont think that one should even be a possibility. 2 of the 3 men were somewhat experienced boaters. I doubt they would of dove in to rescue without trying to toss the circle flotation device out, just dont make sense. Now what is possible is that they had someone set up to meet them with another boat and they left their lives to start new ones.... I'd believe that more than they all just jumped off and drowned.
You can’t outrun having responsibilities and getting a job. He would be even more on his own if he ran away. That’s a ridiculous theory for him running away.
Why would anyone run from a girlfriend, wasn't like she could have went after him for alimony....that smart ass was too full of himself, saying he hasn't found much intelligence the places he has worked...
Never say never. Ive seen where two trained off duty emergency rescue workers ran out on ice to try to save a friend that fell through instead of using their training and finding a safer way to help. they would be among the missing too if the fourth person had ran out there. The third guy probably fell overboard trying to pull one of the other guys back on the boat. If the guy in the water was panicking he would probably lunge and grab at anything he could reach to get back on the boat. That training is hard to follow too.. im tolg. youre supposed to throw them a life preserver and wait until youve got their attebtion.. then use a rope or paddle '' Someting you can let go of" never let them grab you.
If someone fell overboard maybe one guy would jump in after but not all of them one would be getting something for them to grab a hold of like a rope, life jackets try radio for help. I feel there was not good humans involved cut the sail so they couldn't get away.
Hundreds of Hillary Clinton’s friends couples and whole families have disappeared . Along with a fireman and policeman that come to the houses to put evidence fires out

Thanks, Simon. That was such an interesting comment. I did not know that!
😮that's amazing
They go for the throat. No screaming.
Possibly...they found a way to incapacitate people while taking them away. This may be Beyond our realm of understanding, and the truth is probably more horrifying than we can imagine

I think this scenario is most probable, but I was really hoping for the water alien abduction. Those guys don't get enough attention or credit.
I agree. Just an unfortunate accident.
These series are amazing,I've been looking ages for them .
He's a classic, he makes the series.
Why would all three experienced sailors jump off the vessel?, Couldn't the captain just sail in a circle ,or throw in the floaty things into the water ? I highly doubt all three would have jumped in willingly.
Agreed. They may not have had many years left but I don't think they had lost all their marbles.
"Floaty things"?? 😂😂😂😂😂
I feel like either a fight broke out or something terrible happened, perhaps during fishing one got pulled into water and got hurt.

Loved him in all his Twilight Zone gigs. He also is a provocateur. Really gets u to think .
Like Biden won the election and did a good job! It's mass hallucinating!
Food for thought. 😮

Like I said, not MY $125.
Haha. I think you’re right mate. The only thing she’s relieving them of is their hard earned.

Yes, and all 3 jumping overboard wouldn't shred the sail either.
Sails shread if the boat turns into the wind because noone is steering. The tear probably happened once noone was onboard.
Attacked by a giant cheese grater obviously
is it possible the men were fighting, ended up in the water and the boat got away...the sail I can't explain
Probably taken by pirates.

@@silverstuff182 maybe a fight broke out with all three men
He will tell any lie for money.
