Hello! Out of the box I believe the rifle is just over 6lbs. Add a decent scope and I’m sure you’re around 7lbs. However, for our long range setup, I think my mossburg is now near 10lbs.
Joe Craig Good to know. I’ve seen 20 round mags in these rifles, I just wasn’t sure if that was a “high cap mag” or it was standard. Out here in CA I can never keep up with what is or isn’t legal. I will keep that noted though.
slip on surpressors are not standard nor made by mossberg not know name of trigger? its a lightning like the bolt symbol litteraly right on it what do marines shooting have anything to do with what this is about?
Maverick Smith there is a suppressor that is desired to slip on and rock closed over the muzzle break. It’s pretty cool, I’m assuming you’ve never seen one. And I have seen them sold in gun stores with 20 round pmags but that must be an add on obviously
The American Russian very cool I’ll have to look up what suppressor is designed to go on that brake. All I was saying is none from Mossberg come with either the big mags or suppressor. You can add on of course
Lmao what? This is just the standard model, not a cali model. You don’t even know how to pronounce Leopold right, how can I take any of this seriously? And a fluted barrel doesn’t make it easier to “rack”; it’s for weight and retaining accuracy.
@@longrangepatriots7518 and yes definitely lightwer than an M1A of course. To its defense, the M1A was designed in the 50s lol. Also this Mossberg can easily shoot more accurately almost twice as far as the M1A. That being said, the M1A is still an amazing rifle and beautiful piece of history.
What’s it weight ? If it over 7 lbs two heavy for hunting ?

Texas sells them with a ten round as do all other states.

The American Russian i wouldn’t want a 20 in mine, it would severely impede my ability to adjust elevation.
Yup I can verify this. They all come with 10 round mags from the factory.
Can you post a video of you shooting it & with you walking around with it to show how light weight the rifle is.

I have the same rifle,and also put a leopold on it but no sun shade.Nice and light,and you can hunt elk with it.
All states sell them with 10 round p mags. Also they all come with standard muzzle brakes and no state sells them with “slip on suppressors” lol

You must not know firearms. This is probably one of the lightest long range rifles you can buy.
