    Bold man's with no knee pads. Lol. Years of being a contractor not using knee pads, I now have 2 new knees. You get up like I do lol

      I worked as a carpenter for 10 years. I still consider myself a carpenter even though I don’t work in the trade anymore. I have the scars and body aches that go along with being a carpenter. I wouldn’t change anything.
      Thanks for watching!

    Carpet doesn't belong in a RV. I would love to know what silly person ever thought that it did. Lol. Looking good there. Hard work and sweat is paying off.

    For your mirrors in the bedroom. What I did was an old trick i learned back in the 70's. Take fabric and cut to the size needed (use as wallpaper). Buy the liquid starch (amazon sells it). Pour the starch in a large bowl or a bucket. Push the fabric into the starch and saturate it. Squeeze out the access. Then place it on the wall/surface. The starch works like glue. HOWEVER if you need to take the fabric off the surface it does NOT damage anything! You can throw in washing machine if it became dingy, or use toothbrush to do spot cleaning. Just put back in bowl of starch or take finger for spot cleanings and reapply the spot you cleaned. I have done this method in many homes I've lived in. It's great for matching to pillows and curtains... etc. It's a great cover to the mirrors. I sure don't want to look at myself all the time when moving through areas.

      That's interesting. Can it work for other things? We just wanted to cover the gold trim, since our new sink and faucets were chrome .

      Why do they do that? If we'd realized it, we would have torn out the bathroom cabinet before we did the renovation of it.

    Imagine doing all that carpet ripping out and floor installation without being able to get on your knees. I have had a double knee replacement years ago, and ever since am not able to get on my knees. Everything I do for my rv redo is having to just be bent over. (ugh). I'll be 68 next month and just lost my husband this last February. I didn't get my rv till late March. So I'm doing the entire redo on my own. Although a new neighbor of mine is a plumber and will do the new kitchen sink. I'm also doing new kitchen counters. Can't wait till this is all done. Thanks much for your video!! Yup.... carpet under my bathroom sink and couch and bed... Can't wait to get my plank flooring down too! I have it all.. just gotta get the kitchen done first.

    Great job! Just curious how you completed the flooring under the slideout? I'm in the process of installing vinyl flooring and your slide out looks just like mine. Did you remove all of the existing carpet under the slide? Where did you start under the slide with the new flooding. Really appreciate any words of wisdom. Just joined your channel and going through all your video's.

      Thanks, This video shows what I did under the recliners - th-cam.com/video/NDrT2vZEHBA/w-d-xo.html. As far as under the slide. I started on that side and ran two rows of flooring and slid the flooring under the slide area. Then I continued on from there. Hope this helps. Thank you for watching.

      We are just finishing up the renovation this week and will have our full reveal episode next week most likely. So we haven't really put any wear on it yet othervthan Dexter zooming around on it. Your question reminds me that we need to show what we liked and what we didn't on that episode. Thanks!

    I've got to ask. Why are you not running the air conditioning?

    • @RoamingWithRosie
      @RoamingWithRosie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We don't run the generator when we are not at the coach. Just in case of a fire. Refrigerators and generators have been known to catch fire. So we just don't do it.

    • @RoamingWithRosie
      @RoamingWithRosie  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If we're plugged in we would run the ac and the fridge is electric and can run on the batteries when we arent there. Once we get solar it will be better.
