I am so sorry for your losses. I do feel that dying doing something that you love seems better than living too long. "Living too long" never occurred to me until my grandma (who also played a mean piano) spent the last 5 years of her life "living too long". We're not meant to spend forever on the Earth. Love every day. Be your best. You are amazing.
I really enjoy slow mornings with my baby while listening/watching you. I've been following along for about 3 years, so it's really sweet to be able to remember every milestone that's happened in my life relative to y'all's. Your book release came at a time when my heart was yearning for a child and God was telling my husband and I it was time. Listening to your audio book has become a walk down memory lane for me now that my little boy is here.
They always play it after tuning so the owner can hear it and to double check tuning…. It’s cool to see your love for your grandmother’s piano… thanks for sharing it with us.
Your heartfelt share about the love of horses was insightful and helpful. You never know when what you share will be something someone appreciates learning.
I find living in the south (especially when in a higher humidity) it's good to get the piano tuned at least once a year, and it's an enjoyable thing to know it will be fixed and tuned! I'm excited for you. And I understand your frustration with cleaning a piano, it feels like there's not much you can do to clean it.
I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. One of my biggest fears and why I don't let anyone in with my stud unless I am there. Its always that 1% chance that has me taking so many precautions you all will be in my prayers.
Thx for sharing your pain and joy. My daugther and I are also horselovers, she rides and something to keep in mind that I taught her is to NEVER get on a horse without praying for protection and that goes for everything in life including nature adventures like she does, jumping of cliffs into the sea, acrobranching, hiking etc. God is the only one that can protect us, He gets all the glory. She works on a farm in the Cape in South Africa, drives tractors and works with cattle which we would think is just normal farmwork, but believe me it has its dangers too and she never goes without praying and offcourse as her mom I do pray for her protection also every day and also if she for instance flies to visit us, I start praying for protection in advance from the moment she tells me she is coming to visit. We can not go through live without prayer and we must never forget to give God the glory for He is our only devine provider and so worthy to be praised. God bless u and your beautiful family🙏❤️.
You have no idea how cathartic your channel and your voice are to me. I loved hearing about your piano. My condolences to you and your family regarding your family friend that passed. 🙏 Jonah rocks in his kicks and moves from his class. 🙂
Love that you cleaned for your piano tuner. The sweet old man that does ours says he has seen a lot of grungy messes. He said, " you would brush your teeth before going to the dentist..."
Loved seeing the new pets and their enclosures. Also Benji is so cute with his little voice and he’s talking so well! Love your videos on the both Channels and think your family is just great ♥️
With it being quiet and being unnerving- my husband laughed at me the other night because I stomped around the house at 2am thinking someone was breaking in ‘because I could hear footsteps’…was my own heart beat (I had a really high temp as kids shared their germs).
I always loved it when we got our piano tuned! When he was done he would play Disney medleys for us kids!! I also recognized the song that he was playing in the clip, I played it when I was taking lessons.
Angie, my heart hurts hearing about your & your mom’s/family loss. Great to hear you speak about someone who sounds like he deserves your mention. Just stories like that kind of inspires us folks. I want to be someone who others want to mention whenever I pass away. Love you all. Life is busy, but for some reason I never miss a video of yours. I want only the best for your loved ones so I’ll continue to talk about to others and occasionally share on Twitter. Love y’all!
Caught you on the brighter side! I enjoy all of your vlogs on both channels as well as the random emails. It’s nice that you keep it real with genuineness’s as well as holding boundaries for yourself and family. Jessie is your twin. My deepest condolences for the loss of your Mom’s friend. xoxo
How did Jonah get so big over night?! He's such a handsome young man. Love they way you keep all off the different critters. It really shows that all of you are so big animal lovers and have nothing but respect for them.
I was thinking the same thing. I think all of the 2018-2019 viewers only see a glimpse of JJ these days and whenever he shows up we get so surprised at how huge he is now..😆
I understand one hundred percent about the sounds. I got hearing aids about six months ago and I walked around my house pointing at things saying that makes a noise. Also had to take them out at the dinner table as I could hear four people chewing 😂.
Your newer family members are very cool/cute. Ive never seen a leopard gecko, he's actually beautiful...nothing I thought I'd ever say about a gecko. I'm so very sorry for the loss of your family friend. Having grown up with horses and having one until kiddo number 3, I get what you mean about him. Horse people are some of the most giving, precious people I've ever been friends with and end up being life-long friends. Praying your hearts are comforted during this time.
I’m there for the pressure washing … knuckle cracking ..not so much😂😂 but while TH-cam is still here share where you at..Highs and low ! oh I totally understood the joy the Piano sounds when its tuned and played with love! 🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧💕jane
I'm sorry for the loss of your family friends. We have lost family members this year and it's so tough especially when it's unexpected. Only God knows in His infinite wisdom why good people have to leave us too soon. The piano playing was beaufiul and peaceful! I'm happy that you're getting your baby grand restored. I used to enjoy playing back in my teens and twenties when I had more time! Now I'm a homeschool mama and super involved in our community. It's always fun to see what your family is up to and it was especially fun to see Jonah show off his Taekwondo moves at the end! My husband is a 4th degree black belt, 26 years experience and has taught for 15 years. You're a great mama! Enjoy the precious gifts that God has given you and enjoy life to the fullest!
The way the world is, we have to find enjoyment and excitement in even the little things in our lives. I love love love a piano, so i get it. No joke, i used to crack my knuckles several times per day. It was so satisfying, and my fingers felt so good after. I stopped after being advised that it's bad for me in the long run. It now only happens on occasions (like watching this video). 😉😂😂 That's one of the cutest little dogs I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
Oh, Angie ♥️ What you said about horses having the ability to kill us but that by their grace, we are able to enjoy close relationships them, felt deeply theological to me. It reminded me of our relationship with God, who is both Almighty and Our Loving Father.
My daughter started riding and it is so hard because we love them but as a mom, it terrifies me. I am sorry for your loss. It will be wonderful to have the piano restored fully.
My youngest sister loved horses so much and found a way to be around them when she was around twelve years old. She found a horse stable around 5 miles from where we lived and would ride her bike there several times a week to see the horses. Some of the owners of horses that were stabled there would let her ride, in exchange for her helping out with things like cleaning stables, etc. On her 16th birthday they surprised her by gifting her an Appaloosa she named Apple. She dedicated herself to taking care of Apple and was so proud of that horse. One day she was cleaning the stables and one of the other horses got spooked and ended up kicking my sister in the head knocking her unconscious. Thank God another owner showed up and was able to call an ambulance. Our parents were so upset, and our Mom said she wasn't allowed to go there anymore. That girl was so headstrong and didn't miss a beat and was back at the stables two days later as if nothing ever happened. Love your videos, Angela! I love seeing your happy, beautiful family and pets!
I'm glad you were able to get you piano back in order. I was actually very interested. I have a family piano that needs a tune/ clean. It's on my 2022 list to do.
The Piano really does sound so nice when someone's knows how to play , I could listen to it all day . Wish I knew how to play . Good for you getting lessons .
So cool that you are re-doing your piano. I had my family piano and FINALLY parted with it, and it got a new home with a family that had three kids that played piano, but didn't have one... So all was well that ended well. BUT, I still would like to get a lightweight one that takes up less space now... AND love the leopard gecko!
Bravo for valuing the piano and investing keeping it in your home! Your children and YOU will benefit from it!💜🎹 I was a piano major in college, but now a homeschool mom!
Aw I love that Kennedy got a leopard gecko!! I’ve had two in my lifetime and they’re the sweetest little animals. They have so much personality when you really pay attention! 🥰 I also really want to commend you for allowing your children to have and experience caregiving for so many different animals. My parents did the same for me and I really believe it was probably the biggest highlight of my childhood!
I would have loved a set up like that for my hamster but it was not possible living in a small home growing up but I agree cages sold for animals are far from ideal. My hamster got out and ran around in her ball a lot though.
@@jenniferberry120785 Yes absolutely. Growing up I had a few hamsters and their cages were so tiny and I wish I’d known better then. It makes me so sad looking back.
that is very true people that do things that are dangerous they know the consequences but to them it’s worth the risk.. I have two young twin cousins. I’m not very close to them but it was still really devastating for everyone. that side of the family love like nascar, racing and dirt bikes. unfortunately one of the twins passed away from riding. his mother my older cousin such a sweet women my heart breaks for her every single time I think about her. I can’t imagen I really hope she doesn’t blame herself for it. it was just a freak accident 😔💔 thank you for sharing Angie really. I know it’s a little relief to talk about it. I don’t talk about my cousin really but it’s good to share these things with one another.
I am sorry about your losess. May their memory be eternal. I would love to hear you practice/play the piano when you start! I used to when I was a kid then grew out of it.
Hey flossy🤗 I lost my horse buddy last year, I would give him apples and massages, the pasture looks so empty without him. I’ve been a massage Therapist almost 25yrs, get a massage before your chiropractor appt, the adjustment tends to last longer.🤗🥰
My daughter trains horses and clients riding them. She also works with anyone who is verbally, mentally, emotionally challenged. It really makes a difference when you know your horses….safety wise, they do at her barn! I totally understand…. sorry for your loss!!
Please don’t apologise for anything you share or don’t share, whether it be the most boring of subjects. If your viewers are interested (I am for one ☝️) they’ll watch but if they aren’t then they can easily turn off, so just keep doing what you do best 😊
So sorry to hear sad news of a friend passing away. My condolences to you and all your friends and family who knew and loved this man who lost his life. What an amazing home for the cute hamster and the lovely gecko! Living in Qld we have geckos everywhere, all round the outside of our house eating bugs on the kitchen windows every evening that are attracted by the light. Your gecko however is a Goliath sized one with pretty pattern skin compared to the pale small ones I see at night. 😀
Please please tell me the name of this music the tuner played, I have my grandmothers piano, we got it ship from Germany, and also have to get it tuned, and she used to play this too just to get “warmed out”. Have a beautiful day. Very Sorry for your loss.
Wow, I've never been this early. I guess I'll use this oppurtunity to let you know how much you make me smile. Even in this hard part of life with resent loss of a close family member :)
I completely understand having that internal battle of loving horses and being acutely aware of the risk. 11 months ago while visiting with our neighbors my 6 year old daughter was kicked by their horse named Floyd. It happened in just a second. I was right by her and couldn't intervene fast enough. We were up by his head petting him and my daughter asked if she could pet his mane. Our neighbor said "yes" so my daughter reached up to pet the mane and the horse spooked, like levitated and ran forward and kicked back her. It sent her flying 4 feet in the air and 12 feet away. The hock is what hit her in the jaw, breaking it in 2 places and she landed so hard in their arena that it bruised her liver and gave her a partially collapsed lung. If it had been the horse's hoof it would have been so much worse. If it had been lower or higher she would be gone. I truly am not writing this to scare you but insead to empathize with this struggle. Just yesterday she asked about riding lessons because she still LOVES horses! So now what do I do?!?! In the ER she said she "forgives Floyd". And that is a wonderful spirit of a child!
I want to emphasize that it wasnt anything my daughter did. Even our neighbor said that afterwards. My daughter was calm and respectful. She didn't move fast or anything. Our neighbor was shocked by his reaction. They think something must have happened in his past where it scared him. We will never know. My neighbor was standing next to us holding his reigns loosely and when he spooked there was nothing she could do to stop him. His power was insane.
I am glad you decided to try and learn the piano. I wish I had been able to afford (my parents) to learn as a child. My daugther is learning now and she does not really appreciate it I think but she will learn until she loves it 🙃😅💀. But yah enjoy it Angie it is a blessing to have one!!
If you are looking for a very calm, dossal lizard the bearded dragons are just that. My son had one when he was younger and it would sit on his shoulder while he watched tv. They make great pets
Is there a tutorial on your personal channel on how you style your hair with that volume in the front fringe area?? I love it, but I have no idea how to recreate it!!
We have an Australian labradoodle and she is over 20 kgs (45lbs) and she loves to be picked up and cuddled like that and she jumps up and Wraps her front legs around and berries her head in and hugs everyone she meets.
🥰🥰I really would love a piano and learn to play. A few months ago, right after I bought my house a local lady had one listed for free and I couldn’t talk my hubs into picking it up for me as we had no one to help us lift it. I still regret not grabbing it up! I would enjoy seeing you learn to play!
So true about horses and horse people, it's like a compulsion. My sister owned a horse farm, she was really injured and now doesn't. We joke constantly my mother is going to die from her horses, they are always pushing her around.
Yep it’s in your blood. I have 3. I can only ride one at a time. But as I say I’ll always have horses even if I never ride again. Love everything about them.
The technician is playing Bach's prelude in C major BWV 846. You'll be able to learn it in your first or second year of playing no problem, it's much easier than it sounds 👍
My older daughter has a leopard gecko. She got him about 3 1/2 years ago when he was just a month old. We tease her that he has an attitude like her. :)
I am so sorry for your losses. I do feel that dying doing something that you love seems better than living too long. Mine did too
A decade too long
It was very sad, trapped in her body that didn’t work anymore.
Jonah has such amazing smile! He honestly reminds me so much of CR. Also- watching Jessie sit in your hip made me melt! Cutest thing ever!

I’m scared of horses but horse girls are some of the toughest I’ve ever met! They have hearts of gold and steel.
I’ve been watching your channel for a looooong time, you are so easy to listen too. Much love from Australia xx
That habitat for Zoya makes my heart glow 💗 Thank you for being such great caretakers for the animals 🤩

So sorry to hear about your family friend 🙏🏻🙏🏻 the pressure of taking these decisions for your kids .... so tough. Hugs to you 🤗
Thank you Jonah for the taekwondo show I didn’t know that I needed today 😬🥰

I want to emphasize that it wasnt anything my daughter did. Even our neighbor said that afterwards. My daughter was calm and respectful. She didn't move fast or anything. Our neighbor was shocked by his reaction. They think something must have happened in his past where it scared him. We will never know. My neighbor was standing next to us holding his reigns loosely and when he spooked there was nothing she could do to stop him. His power was insane.
Hi angie the piano sounded beautiful do you know what the piece of music is called that the man was playing xxxx
I am glad you decided to try and learn the piano. I wish I had been able to afford (my parents) to learn as a child. My daugther is learning now and she does not really appreciate it I think but she will learn until she loves it 🙃😅💀. But yah enjoy it Angie it is a blessing to have one!!
Yup have to have white noise. My children need it too.
Love you guys!
If you are looking for a very calm, dossal lizard the bearded dragons are just that. My son had one when he was younger and it would sit on his shoulder while he watched tv. They make great pets
My husband inherited his family piano and we love ours. My under four year olds love to play on it in the evenings.
I 💗 the sweater you're wearing in this video! Where is it from, if I may? I checked the video description but it only lists 2 sweatshirts.
Lovely piano playing. My bridesmaids walked down the aisle to that piece.
So true about horses and horse people, it's like a compulsion. My sister owned a horse farm, she was really injured and now doesn't. We joke constantly my mother is going to die from her horses, they are always pushing her around.
I would love to see a gecko video. I've always been fascinated by them!!
Safty is very important back up plan preparing real life work for the future
Oh my how Jonah has grown, so cute
I will need to know please, exactly how you got your hair this way?? Thanks!
OMG Jonah is so big. What a handsome young man!
Yep it’s in your blood. I have 3. I can only ride one at a time. But as I say I’ll always have horses even if I never ride again. Love everything about them.
The technician is playing Bach's prelude in C major BWV 846. You'll be able to learn it in your first or second year of playing no problem, it's much easier than it sounds 👍
can someone please explain to me how Shelby is SOOO pretty?? It's unreal!
Does anyone know which piece was being beautifully played on the piano? So so nice!
Bach Prelude in C Major!
You’re hilarious 😂 great ideas girl !
Impressive moves, Jonah!
I'm sorry to hear the sad news about your family friend Angela - Little Zoya is beautiful though and couldn't have found a better home 🐹❤
I’m gonna need you to tell me where you got those awesome terracotta glazed looking mugs 😃
My older daughter has a leopard gecko. She got him about 3 1/2 years ago when he was just a month old. We tease her that he has an attitude like her. :)
